Well, I think that a game depicting the Four Heroes in the Kharlan War would be awesome. But not as a sequel, you realize. The Exsphere Journey and what happens after the birth of the Tree (ie a link between ToS and ToP), that would be a sequel. The Kharlan War, on the other hand, would be a prequel. Think Baiten Kaitos II. But yeah, I'd love to play it, as long as I'd get to experience the Symponia universe again. And Yuan would actually have a significant role! Teh total w00tnes!

Shutting up, I know. wouldn't that make it a sequel to the game but a prequel to the story? oh and yuan rocks!! the only problem though is the ending, would it end with mithos losing his sanity and taking the seed? I was thinking that maybe it could end with kratos meeting his wife and lloyd being born.

Yeah, come to think about it, it would have a pretty crappy ending. (You can't stop with lloyd because then you miss the 'Anna transforms, Kratos loses Lloyd and resigns himself to Cruxis' parts. So the end would be awful angsty and anticlimactic.
A sequel-prequel. Heh, it's just BK II again.

People who hadn't played ToS would be like "What the heck is going on here? Does Colette succeed or fail? What happened to Yggdrasil?" And so on and so forth.
