What shall we do for Kai's Bday this year? It's just around the corner and we're gonna have to remind the guild members soon.
I guess we'll have a get-together party. What can we do other than that?
Any suggestions?

Since it's about birthday what year is Kai born?
Just wanting to know his chinese zodiac sign and whether or not I am really older than him

Last time I checked, Kai was 12 when the first season started airing in Japan (but his age was changed to 13 in the English dub). The anime was first shown sometime in 2001, both in Japan and America.
Using math, one would find that being 12 years old in 2001 (I like to set a relative timeline based on the year the anime was first shown - unless it has a futuristic setting) means that Kai would have been born in 1989.
