So if anyone didn't see my other little sticky/post/thread thingy.. It was about how my parents treat me like crap and how I'm fed up with it.

Well, today was no different, except I didn't take it like I usually would.

All I did, was go up to eat some lunch. I ate leftovers, no less and he bitches at me 'cuz he was gonna eat it and didn't get to it first. I waited 3 days until I ate it. It was sitting in the fridge for 3 days until I decided to eat it.

Anyways, then I wasn't speaking to him, or replying to anything he was saying (as he was just yelling at me more and more), and he was like "What are you purposely keeping your mouth full just so you don't hafta answer?"

And I looked at him. That's all I did. I just looked at him. And he bitches at me for looking at him! "Don't give me one of your stupid looks!"

And then, when I was done eating I cleaned my dishes, set them in the sink, stood there, looked at my dad, blankly, and said "Good pep talk, dad" and started walking towards the door, and he went crazy.

I was walking out, and he starts telling/yelling me what I already know.

Says "When is your life gonna be more than just anime huh" and "You can't afford all this crap you're doing." and "You're just mad 'cuz we're yelling at you and you don't like it" and "Grow the ******** up"

And really, the list just goes on and on.

And I looked at him, looked at the door, and said "I'll see ya later".

And he was like "NO! IM NOT DONE" BLAH BLAH BLAH *insert more screaming and profanity here*

And I just walked off. Simple as that.

Then he goes: "MOVE OUT THEN! SEE HOW HARD LIFE REALLY IS"

And I heard other things, but I can't remember them. Actually, I just ignored them.

So PPS, here is my question:

Is this a personal victory for me? Or did I just make things worse?

I feel pretty good about it, because I'm finally not taking his crap, and I'm finally standing up for myself, without even having to yell back at him.

Did I do the right thing?

I would like to know.

That's pretty much how things are right now. I'm in college, and I have a job. What more can they ask for?

Apparently everything in the world, it seems.

I feel I did the right thing. My friend said that if I start standing up to him more he'll give me less s**t. I can only hope he's right >.>
