"Journal Entry, Day 1. We have just started setting out from our home, the Demented Muffin. Weather seems unchanged, nothing much but sun, a slight breeze, and a few clouds forming up in the distance. We got a distance to cross till we get to the Temple atop the highest point in the Trenches, but I'm sure we'll make it." He set the book back in his equipment belt, along with his pen, starting out.
Lex looked over to Shorty, patting him on the head. "Gonna stay quiet like always, eh? Well, fine! No license plate game for this adventure!!!". Lep and Pepper looked at each other, then at Lex, who turned over to them with a raised brow. "... Wha?"
Pepper looked over at Lep, shaking her head. "So, what is it exactly that we're going to get anyway?"
"We're going up to get a scroll that supposedly raises the dead and turn it over to the Barton Museum." He looked at them, nodding some. "No, we're not gonna use it to raise Ruby from the dead... even if it does sound tempting and it hurts if I dont...." With that, he frowned some, shaking his head.
Pepper patted his shoulder, messing with his hair some. "Take it easy. We all know it wasnt your fault.... Besides, she wouldn't have wanted you to get so connected to her to the point of raising her from the dead...." She smiled some, then looked back to the other two.
