The clearing was warm, and the sun was reflecting off her coat. HAH. She wasn't hot.. too much. In comparison to some, she would imagine, at least. Kusuma pranced around in a large circle, then dropped to the ground and rolled around in the dirt, neighing. She loved running, and rolling, and playing, and knew that this would be one of those rare times she'd be able to do it- when she was far away from her best friend, Morgan.

Ahmik was a playful thing, not overly playful but he loved to run and race. Today he was just wandering though, he didn't have much to do, his life was just so slow that he got bored sometimes but most of the time he was content.
As he reached a clearing he noticed a female rolling in the dirt and laughed. He hadn't rolled for so long it seemed a little strange.
"Hello there!"

She shot up, looking guilty, staring at the creature that approached. Blinked once. Twice. "Hi." her voice was rather squeaky, from surprise at being caught. "I, uhh... You didn't see me doing that, okay?" She rolled to her feet, eyeing the stranger. If she'd been caught... Not that anyone who looked at her WOULDN'T know what she'd been doing, from her leg markings and her ruffled mane, but...

He laughed.
"I didn't see a thing, obviously!" He chuckled a little, she was an amusing thing it seemed.
"I am Ahmik? May I ask your name?" He smiled and walked a little closer to her, he didn't like to talk to someone while being so far away from them.

"I'm Kusuma." her smile was bright. "And what did you not see?" her ears perked in teasing curiosity. "So, what brings you to these parts today, Ahmik? I've never seen you around here in this area." Were there lots of soquili who came here? How mortifying; the thought that someone else could have seen her and thought she was mental...

"It's nice to meet you Kusuma and I am afraid I am not quite sure what I didn't see, after all I didn't see anything!" He laughed, wondering if what he said made any sense at all.
"Well I have been exploring, I left my home by the sea to find other creatures, I didn't see many at home and I wanted to make some friends so I am wandering. Do you live here?" He was curious, he did love to meet others.

She grinned at him. "I live anywhere and anywhere, as long as it's got a lot of sunshine and a lot of room." Forests were not for her! She hadn't gone to visit the sea yet... though she had been told it was wet. And sandy. Excellent... that was actually where she'd been headed, before she'd gotten distracted by the thought of rolling. Rolling was fun. <3

"Sounds like a good life!" He chuckled, he didn't care much where he went as long as he met new creatures and had some fun. She seemed a very childish girl after all he had caught her rolling about in a playful manner but then again he did love a good roll himself sometimes.

She smiled at the stallion brightly. "Good enough, I guess! I have a best friend who adores me, and grass, and sunshine. I can't imagine that I would need anything else, really. Well, other than water, but that can be found easily as well." she nodded. "It's fun, and easy."

"A best friend? What are they like?" He was curious, he had a friend, Kindle, she was lovely and very different. He found her fun and would call her a best friend even though he didn't know her that well.
Fun and easy? It didn't seem easy to him sometimes it was hard work living on his own without his father to guide him but he was managing so maybe it was easy, he just hadn't realised how easy it was because he had never done it before.

Kusuma's head tilted. "Of all my friends, she's the best." she explained. "Not really, but she's the one I get along with best, love the most, and so... yeah." she shrugged. "I call her my best friend." Of course, the fact that Morgan was her only friend... didn't deter her. Not much did.
