(I couldn't find it in the Directory, so forgive me if there's already one sweatdrop )
So, this game is more recommended for fans of the Nightmare Before Christmas, but it's still pretty fun. Basically, Jack, looking for a new technique to use for Halloween, recieves this cool new device from Doctor Finkelstein, the Soul Robber. He goes out to test it, but things quickly take a turn for the worse. He comes back to find that Lock, Shock, and Barrel have sewn the Boogieman back together, and now the entire town's one big death trap infested with monsters! The boss fights were my favorite parts. They did an awesome job revamping the movie soundtrack- I actually found myself singing along with Jack and Sally in the Crypt Creeper level, and the new version of 'Kidnap the Sandy Claws' is CAT-CHY! biggrin

Yeah, I loved rescuing sally in the dungeon. It was a fun game, easy to beat and quite a spin off of the nightmare before christmas. I loved the first boss fight, when Jack starts dancing! That was fun!

ji-an Yeah, I loved rescuing sally in the dungeon. It was a fun game, easy to beat and quite a spin off of the nightmare before christmas. I loved the first boss fight, when Jack starts dancing! That was fun! I know. I was all, "Music notes?" At first I thought Jack would use them to heal, or for money or something, and then he starts dancing. Man, it was awesome. For some strange reason, I also liked the part where you need to climb to Finklestein's laboratory, and Shock's up top with that cannon shooting those giant weights at you (they looked like demonic Pac-Men xd ). Probably cause I love Shock, although I hated her first boss fight- the ghosts are annoying as heck. She had such a cool opening line: "I don't want to crush your spirit, Jack. 3nodding ...Just your body! twisted "

I adore the game, I really do. The only thing that throws me off is the voice acting. Sally's voice is MURDER on my ears. I could have hoped they would have found a voice closer to the real Sally's. Even so, it IS a great game! Even though my boyfriend has to do the dancing combos. I can't do them for anything. D:

Well, it has been over 10 years since the movie...I'm amazed they got even some of the original voice actors (poor Dr. Finky passed away sad ). Yeah, some of the dance sequences are hard. A few of the notes in Sally's song came a little too fast for me, and even though I haven't reached the end of the game yet (although I'm kind of far, I only just rented it) I don't even want to FATHOM the 'Dance Sequence from Hell' (as my friend, Nightmare1, has dubbed it).

I had no idea that you were supposed to switch his brain, and then I though, hey I'll throw this at him and it worked! O_O

After playing that game, I have totally lost much of my respect for the begginning music to the movie. (( I will love the movie forever )) But I must admit that they could have done a better job with the battle music. neutral

I am totally obsessed with the game...@_@ I just have so much fun playing it. I don't really get bored for some reason- I find the suspenseful parts suspenseful (my adrenaline always freaks at the Filthy Finale dance), the sweet parts sweet (You give me strength, you show you care~ ^w^), the scary parts scary (the background effects in the Magma Maze...I'm like, "OMG HE'S GONNA GET ME" D> ), and the funny parts funny (We're on a secret mission to stop you! Don't tell anyone though- XD *whacked* XP ). And the music just stuck in my head. I was playing KH, and at the part where Oogie fuses to his manor, I couldn't help myself...
What's this? A trick- I'm not impressed! You're bad and now you're tall! It makes it all the more worthwhile to see a giant fall!
(Do you think the treehouse is ten stories high? X) )
