I thought you could only get them by donating to Boondox. o.o
Actually I don't know exactly how it happened, since it was my brother who was playing at the time, but he told me Ruby gave me the feather as a gift.
I think the total sum I donated to Boondox amounts to 4 bells. sweatdrop

i dont know what happened,
i suppose it could happen though since u can get nintendo items not only through their events but other ways like gifts, and baloons

Are the Nintendo items really that rare? They sell for nothing at Flea Markets.
Of course I'm talking only about the bench here, which I got from Booker. (And can order in the catalogue for little more than 100 gold whenever I want.)

You only have to donate like..10,000 bells to get a green feather..
im a bit more of a pricey man with my 600,000 bell red feather..might have been 800,00... dont remember..i usually donate 200,000 a time...
But i think becasue of it i never got my blue or yellow feather...wouldve made a nice collection...
I usually just do that bank interest glicth to get money..then i go to Oct 31st and get Wisp to pluck all my weeds...pretty nice deal..

He was a special character in the GCN version.. You could find him late at night from 12.00-04.00 when you had many weeds in your town. You'd collect five 'spirits' and bring them to him. He'd reward you by pulling all your weeds, giving you a 'special gift' or painting your roof.
