Well, the movie came out on the 11th and the book came out two days ago... Did anyone read/watch it?
I watched & read it, I thought the book was really good, but the movie could be better.

Book- there were bits I liked and bits I did not.
Mostly because I dislike Harry/Ginny.

Dude. I never even read past the fourth book. xD
The beginning was just... so... BLAH to me, that it was a challenge for me to get up to the third chapter. And everytime I put the book down, it would be for a long time, then I'd have to reread it.
Funny thing is the book has been haunting me for several days. Randomly appearing in places. =o
I have so much catching up to do... >>; *nuked*

I liked the book... I don't have much of a problem with HarryxGinny, I knew it was coming. But I originally did like HarryxHermione.
I cried about 5 times while I was reading. I was in the car with my dad one of the times I started crying and he pulled over because he thought I was hurt. sweatdrop

Well...I cried at least three times on the chapter where they had Snape's memory flashbacks.
I thought it was so sad! Ah, Snape the closet romantic. (I heard that somewhere on DA)
I'm still all for Lily&James though, lol

I thought it was sweet that his middle name was Severus. It was unexpected, but I loved that part.
And Malfoy...I loved that. And his son's name...Scorpius.

I understood that.
What did you think about the Ariana thing? I thought it was really sad. And...I was kind of wondering how exactly those muggles could torture her.
When I first read it I thought they'd raped her but after I talked to some people about it they didn't seem to have that impression...

agreed. for the first 5 books, she was just "ron's little sister"
for me, harry x ginny = ew.
(no offense to anyone who likes them, though)
im all for harry x hermione when it comes to shipping.. <3
anyway, yeah. i kinda just skimmed through the epilogue. i mean, i love jkr and all, but it was wayyyy too corny.
i mean, come on .. they're poor children are going to be taunted for the rest of their lives.
*sigh* i only cried when..
spoiler : harry & hermione were in godric's hollow, when we found out that snape was in love with lily, and when harry used the resurrection stone to bring back tonks, lupin, sirius, james, and lily. lol.. i bawled my eyes out at those parts.

Gah, I can't help but to feel sorry for Harry's parents.
I just thought they were so good and their lives ended too fast.

And Lupin's, and Sirius'.
Haha, I use to be all for HarryxHermione, I always thought they'd end up together
since you know, they were the main characters in the first few books.
But then Cho came along, and I fell for HarryxCho but I still liked HarryxHermione.
