What you MUST have in your thread:
- Pokemon (What species?)
- Hold Items (If you don't include it, it'll be considered as none)
- Moves (No moves, no rate)
- In-game or Competitive (So we can set our expectations)
- Proper spacing (Putting a space between the Pokemon helps the rater read)
These are absolute musts. Most raters will not even bother reading if the moves aren't there.
What you MIGHT want to put:
- Ability (Usually when the Pokemon has more than one)
- Nature (Stating the benefit and the hinderer helps as well)
- EVs (Ignore this if you don't know what EVs are)
- Comments (either Pokemon-specific or overall team strategy)
These really help a rater fix up your Pokemon.
What you DON'T need to put:
- Levels (Most wi-fi battles are auto-level 100)
- Stats (EVs are fine, but listing the stats is a waste of space)
- Types (We know)
- Pictures (We know how they look)
- Multi-colour fonts (One colour makes things easy to read. Doesn't have to be black, but any single colour)
- Anything that wouldn't help us help you. (Like what you had for breakfast)
These are either a waste of space or make things hard to read. People don't like to dig to find what they're looking for. Don't make them.
To further help you, here's a template you can use:
Pokemon @Item
Ability
Nature
EVs
---
Move 1
Move 2
Move 3
Move 4
Comments:

Move 3
Move 4
Comments:
Feel free to add or remove things from the template. Just remember the guideline and you should do fine.
Here's an example for those who want to see what a good one should look like:
Example
Blaziken@Choice Band
Blaze
Adamant (+Atk -Sp.Atk)
6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
---
Night Slash
Flare Blitz
Brave Bird
Brick Break

Though it does not have to be exactly like this (this is a guideline, remember?), it'll help if your team is posted in a similar fashion.
