I was just wondering if any of you actually want to punch the daylights out of ignorant lifers in the abortion debate thread? Last night I was getting so pissed at [name omitted] and now this other dumbass that's in there. I don't care what lifer's want to believe, but dammit when I ask why they care more about a fetus, than a living woman or born child's life I want a damned answer!

But they'll never answer, or confess to being pro-punishment or feto-supremicists. They're too busy clinging to the "moral high ground," redefining words at their whims, and claiming their appeals to emotion, red herrings, and circular logic are valid debate tactics.

Mmm, it really pisses me off. Personally, I like my right to bodily autonomy a lot kthnx. Looks like women are lower than feti (is that right..?) nowadays.
I went to the art fair, and ironically, the pro-choice booth was right next to the pro-life booth.

I used to get nearly uncontrollable anger when it came to idiot pro-lifers.

like the time that an 11 year old tried to battle me on deviantart.
yeah,she didnt exactly win.
i kept my cool though.
actually,she tried to battle every single pro choice piece she could find on the site.
she didnt even know what the term "zygote" meant and she had to look it up,and even got confused on the meaning.

yeah,i think the main reason that she didnt win was because she was completely uneducated.she ended up making herself look incredibly stupid.

i was pretty much angrier than you can imagine at people like her, but now i can battle others in a very calm manner.
i find that im not defeated often,simply because everyone i've ever spoken to thats pro life is uneducated.

which is why i no longer get angry,is because i've realized they cant fight me back as well as i can fight them.so i fight them with ease.

I used to post but now I dont even lurk, lurking will just make me want to post and make me angry.

I had the flamming thing happen. I was talking to some guy and I was trying to explain "seperation of church and state" to him...it went somehting like this:

Me: Well, can we please just leave jesus out of this one.
him: NOOOO! Jesus is my life!
Me: That's fine. But he has no place in law making
him: RAWR! Yes he does! Our for fathers were Christian!!
Me: so they were, but many german's forefathers were nazis, does that make them all nazi's.
him: yes
Me: Oh well... still, seperation of church and state is in the constitution
him: You're taking it out of context
Me: Lol. well if you really believe that Jesus would have valued the life of an embryo over the life of a woman, you go right ahead.
(it was after this that he reported me for flamming)

Same problem here! But I do know why I can't quit. Because these are my bodily rights they are trying to take away from me, and without them, I have nothing. That's why I can't just let it go or quit, because my life, my rights, my status as a human being are being threatened. And even if it wasn't so personal, I'd still fight because it's just wrong and because if you can take away one group's rights, nothing stops you from taking away others. Like... gay rights. I have nothing personal to lose or gain from the equality of GLBT people, but I can't stand to see someone tell them they deserve less rights than anybody else. Someone's fredom is at stake there.

As for the curent poster in the ADT, (whose name I will not post as it is likely to be removed from the thread) she is the most disgusting, frightening person I've seen in a long time. She truly does beleive that human beings are put on this earth just to reproduce.* She is a ******** sow. An incubator. (I wish she would get the ******** out of my gender and stay out.) She dodges every question we give her. She refuses to acknowledge the list of pregnancy side effects and posts stuff claiming that all "normal" women suffer from PAS, while at the same time denying ANY negative emotional or physical affects of pregnancy and childbirth. What scares me the most: She's pregnant. A person like her should NOT be allowed anywhere near children. I seriously wory about that child.

*I swear, she actually took this attitude to an extent where she agreed with someone who sarcastically said that men should be raping around the clock if it's our purpose to reproduce.

It's not their arguments anymore. I can deal with that.

It's when they call women irresponsible whores for shoosing to abort, call us the same just for disagreeing with them, but after about a page or two of debating all of a sudden they're just "stating their opinion" and wondering why people are "arguing" with them. Oh, and when they directly insult a choicer for being a "b***h and a liar" for some thing or other but when I point out they're trying to get out of debate in a debate forum suddenly I'm "insulting" them. Or when they claim to leave and come back to "apologize" as they claim yet b***h at us some more and do everyting but.

I used to post regularly there about two years ago, but I stopped because it got so repetitive.

Lifer: Abortion is wrong, and women who get abortions are whores.

All they do is snigger in their guild about how they have such great arguments (and yet, they never team up to take us on in the ADT).
