Not one of my favorites- not sure why. Still, Thanks for the Memory has an interesting concept. Change your past, change your life. It sure seemed to work for Rimmer!
The biggest thing for me from this episode is the famous (or infamous) triple fried egg chili chutney sandwich. I made one, and ate it. It's definitely an acquired taste!
Do you think therapy and psychoanalysis could ever go so far as to implant false memories or erase memories to "fix" neuroses or mental aberrations? Should they?
Last note: it was interesting to see Rimmer drunk. He's always so proper!

I'm sure false memories would be very easy to implant in some people. A lot of people are really gulliable. It was really interesting seeing Rimmer drunk. I think the only other time he drank was in Me2. Those fried egg chili chutney sandwiches are pretty weird tasting. I don't like chutney though.

I think this episode was funny because the would have spent weeks doing it over and over again.
