Dharmesh was at the top of the hill scanning the area about him. at the moment he was alone since he left his mate at their little clearing they called their home. cosign his eyes he took in a deep breath and let it out with a smile on his face. openign his eyes he glance about and thought he saw something with blue hair within the trees.. that was odd, he never seen that color blue on anything atlest nt yet as he new soem soquili had odd colors. snorting, he moved his front feet up and down in place as he waited to get a better look.

Kelva tossed her bit of mane as she enjoyed a lovely stroll in the fresh summertime. The trees provided nice patches of shade, particularly from her shoulders and backside heating up like a melted rock. She often wondered if her father had the same problem, or it was just her attracting the heat.
Smiling as she brushed her marehawk against a tree she relaxed and thought how grand things were. Only knowing her mother, father, and sister she was ready for a journey to meet others. Well not all soquili of course had strange hair styles or did they? She chuckled to herself just being glad of who she was.

squinting his eyes he saw who ever it was was still hiding behind the tree though he didnt know the soquili was jsut hiding from the lovely warm weather. tossing his long white mane with black strips, he rear up giving a whinny. if the whom ever it was wasnt gonan come out he was draw the soquili's attention to him. crashign back to the round, he tossed his head and waited. if that didnt get attention well he would jsut have to run down and find out for himself who the mistry soquili was that had blue on them.

True, she was enjoying herself but she did hear the other making a fuss. Stopping her little scratch session she peered out of the branches to this other that tried to get her attention.
"Aww I was enjoying the shade, Hmm better go see what he wants". she sighed stepping out of the nice coolness to better say Hello. While she wasn't the antisocial type she was still a dreamer like her mother in any case.
She waited there letting the breeze shuffle through her spiky hair wondering what she should say. She was used to Aquene her sister but a stallion? How in the world do you address a guy and do it so he doesn't think you to be dense or otherwise unintelligent?

Dharmesh was hardly the type of stallion to think any mare was dense or unintelligent. titling his head, he wondered if she was gonna say anything now that she was in the open. letting the breeze blow about his long mane, started towards her. if anythign it semeed he would have to be the one to speak or so he though. staying completely relaxed, he gave a nod to the mare who seemed to have a mohawk hairstyle." lovely day, no?" was all he said once e was close enough since he didnt want to be rude.

She nodded back at him with an odd little wink. Okay he spoke first, nothing like having yourself break the ice someday. But he cleared that up really fast for her, so all was good.
"A bit hot though, don't you think?" she responded to the swirled black and white stallion standing above Kelva. She sighed knowing her parent's teachings, walking slowly toward the other slowly.
I suppose I should be more polite...
Standing around five feet away she smiled at him wisping her long tail back and forth drenched in blues and white. Her eyes held a strangeness flickering now and then as she stood there wondering what next to say. She wasn't that great in social situations, but she was glad an opportunity arose none the less.
"I'm Kelva if you need my name." she smiled with another closure of her eyes. Something sat within her like a small flame, kindled and burning playfully, yet she tucked it neatly away. She wasn't a foal anymore yet her admiration for things was never far from her.

Dharmesh gave a good natured chuckle. his mother had taught him alot about being polite and how he should interact with others. " yes it is a bit hot but it feels good." if one where to look at his dark red eyes they woudl see the wildness about him the he usualy hid when in others company. " it's a pleasure to meet you Kelva. and sicne you where so kind to freely give your name i will give you mine. my name is Dharmesh." grinning, he wasnt always the best at being social but he tryed.

She smiled warmly still feeling out of place, for it took the young mare a bit to get used to strangers she didn't know. She tossed her bit of mane flicking her tail with sweeps over the grass.
"Alright Dhar.. if its alright to call you that. I suppose the sun isn't that bad, hmm I just feel like a heated bed of coals some mornings.Ya know?" she frowned yet mused with her sparkling eyes, "Say you have any kind of advice how to enjoy the heat rather than wish it away? I'd love to hear if you know."
She still felt odd, but he was being nice and well it was her first real meeting with a strange soquili other than her family. Once she got to know you her eyes would take a different gaze and open wider to all things possible.

Dhar started to prance in place and chuckled. " Dhar is fine. my friends, family and mate call me Dhar for short sich Dharmesh is so long. though when i hear Dharmesh i think im in trouble since my mothe rwould call me by my full name when mad if i got out of line." he then had a huge grin on his face. " i would say i good run then dip in the water is always lovely on a hot day but thats me." oh he was a goof at times though under that wild playfullness was his uptight proud side as well but he was young.

She listened intently liking his suggestion. A good dip was a lot of fun, plus it took the heat out of one's coat with ease. Plus with a marehawk like hers it was a blessing to shake and go so to speak.
"I like your way of thinking. Straight and to the point. I'll keep that in mind" she smirked and tossed her agile yet delicate head. Kelva was beginning to familiarize herself with her first stranger. He was nice and had a good side of mirth that glowed from him. Always keep your head where your heart was.
She smiled as she watched him, "Alright then, got a clue as to something to do in this heat and still have fun doing it? I may be a full grown mare but the subject of play has never left my mind. Always a kid at heart, we're born to live" she chimed with a swish of her long blueish-white tail.
More and more she was opening up into the soul she kept hidden. Perhaps she just needed a little encouragement.

" im glad you like my thinking. its always a pleasure when theres someone else who enjoys being wild and free." Dharmesh then moved a little way from her, gave a toss of his head and had a prideful, wild appareance. " if you wouldn't object to a race and a jump into the lake near here, thats my idea of fun on a hot day. and living is what i do." laughing, he was the out going type though high strong, prideful and wild all at once. he then gave a wink at her. " just don't tell my mate that when im away that im playing around like a goof ball."

She smiled playfully tossing her own head, though her mane didn't sway so much as his did. Kind of reminded her of the white flowing water down by the waterfall nearest to the clearing stream. She rather liked picturing things that made her content and otherwise happy.
"I'm up for a run, I think my legs could use the exercise." she chuckled with a toss of her head once again, followed by the flick of her own cascading silken tail amongst the water and the foam in the river, "A dip doesn't sound half bad either".
She beamed with a twinkle in her eyes and pawed the ground. If she won that would be interesting. And if he won, well she'd deal with it. Best thing of all was the chance to just get out and live, she was all for that notion.

Dharmesh laughed and tossed his head. " i also live for running as its in my blood. so lets see if you can keep up with the master of running." grinning at her, he suddenly took off in the direction he knew there to be water where they could jump in to cool off. mane and tail wipping behind him, he glanced back he hoped she could keep up with him.

Kelva had to admit, he wasn't one to fool around in the subject of challenge. But she herself, the proud daughter of Nanaki and the dreamer Star Catcher wasn't either. As she bounded off after him working those powerful muscles in her shoulders and buttocks, she wished her mane could whip around her like Dar's did in front of her. Her little mane was quite spiky and tended to bounce rather than flow. The waving river behind her though made up for her mane as it swirled in blues and white trailing directly after.
Master of running. This made her chuckle as she was catching up to him. The bad thing was, Kelva had no idea where they were headed. How on Earth would she know where the finish was she wondered.

there was another bad thing that Dharmesh forgot to mention to her before taking off. that he LOVED leting the other to catch him then kickign it to high gear after a few moments of letign them stay with him. grinning, he stayed at a certain pace that would allow her to catch him the rest of the way then he was gonna go all out soon enough. it was a little running game he loved to do to his sister.
