The peaceful little town of Gilfar had been hidden for years, until one of The Puppet Master's minions found it by accident. It's hidden in a tree, and never found by anyone else but them. The origin of Gilfar was unknown but for some odd reason it was not governed and taken over by The Puppet Master. The Tree of Gilfar is inside of The Neverending Forest, and if you are lucky enough to find it, and succeed in getting to it you will find yourself amongst the kindest of people in all the land. With many shops and houses and the finest hot springs ever! It's probably the best place for a tourist attraction. (But isn't thankfully.) But what the people of Gilfar take pride in is their largest Library in all the land. Even bigger than the one in Lapiz Luzi.

Thank you The Writer Under a Tree for this great idea and if you would like any changes please say so...I kinda went crazy with the description. @.@

Klaris Fester scanned the shelves as he silently repeated the call number of the book he was looking for. "477.5 AJ, 477.5 AJ... Found it! 'Great Finds of Magic in the New Age.'" Holding the book in his hands he paced over to his desk at the front of the library. As Klaris opened the first page he noticed it's age. It must not be this age. He turned the book over to its leather seam edge. "Volume 1, of coarse! I need volume 2!." A girl walked through the glass door into the library. "I'll be right with you!"

Walking back with a much newer book to his front desk he asked the girl who stood there idly, "What may I do for you?"

The girl looked up; her long blond hair whipped the desk. "I'm Aisia Greenwolf. I preordered a new book that was coming in." She stared at the pile of books in back of the librarian.

"Ah yes! Aisia, I see you around here often. "You wanted to be the first to read the new version of 'The Basics of Elemental Magic' if I'm not mistaken." The tall girl nodded. She looked about fifteen years old or so. "You’re not much younger than I was when I learned my first spells." He said as he began rummaging under his desk for the book. "What is your specialty?" His head popped up from the desk, barely missing the top. "I must've placed it on the shelf already. I will be right back."

Aisia followed him with big eyes. Looking back Klaris blinked in confusion. "You know magic!" Three fire balls appeared above the man's palm which lit the dark library as they began spinning in circles. Aisia thought for a minute while walking. She stopped and braced herself for the librarian's answer. "Will you be my mentor?" Klaris looked back at her. Thinking to himself he quickly had an idea.

"If I'm your mentor," He began, "then will you help me in the library when your here. This really is the only place I can teach you. But look at these shelves." A hand flew up high and pointed to a second story, soon followed by a third. "The first story is all on magic, the second other non-fiction and the third is fiction." Starring at the girls intent eyes her answer was as if his part of the deal was hypothetical. He smiled and nodded. "Come meet me here a week from now at sun up. The first day will be the hardest."

She smiled and was about to walk out when she cried: "My book!" Apologizing Klaris walked over to a shelf. Finding it he pulled over a ladder and pushed it to the top climbing carefully be grabbed it and quickly walked down handing it to Aisia on the way.
