Well, this is the art section and I consider graffiti art. Anyone here into it? I am just not the greatest. I'll get there though.

Hehe I'm sure anyone would suppose that, being from L.A., I see graffiti all the time. And they wouldn't be wrong.
I'm so used to it, in fact, that a number of years ago, when I went to Nebraska to visit with relatives (I may admit I have them, but refuse to post pics -- did you know Larry the Cable Guy is from Nebraska?), one of the first things I noticed as we left the airport was the lack of indesipherable phrases spraypainted... well, anywhere.
Honestly, it was really eerie! I half expected Vincent Price to step out of nowhere, y'know?
As we drove toward the tiny "town" in which my family members live, I saw an overpass ahead with what looked like a blue blotch that must be writing... we neared, and I was sure I was seeing the lone instance of graffiti in the state. When we got close enough, I could actually read what it said!
... "Jesus saves."
I considered it a waste of spraypaint, and I think Los Angeles families whose children are in gangs should be given the option of relocating to the midwest. No, not Chicago -- Kearney. Grand Island. Hildreth. Places you don't even notice as you drive through them on I-80. They need to be decorated. ^_~

haha. I love looking at graffiti when I travel through the city. Some of it is just spectacular. The whole aspect to graffiti is respect. Where you get your name up, how you did it, and the style. Gotta give respect biggrin
