We all have idols, people whom we admire.
Some of us have more than one idol, people who we look up in different areas of our life, and some of us only have one idol whom we admire above all else.
So, who is your idol, and why are they such? confused

One of my idols is Allan Quartermain. He first debuted in King Solomons Mines, a novel by H. Rider Haggard. He's a hunter who goes on epic adventures, specifically Africa in the book. He's an older man; brave with a strong heart. He's wise when it comes to exploring, and a good shot too. He's definetly somebody I look up to.

I have two: 1. Illidan: a big, bad, former elf in World of Warcraft that became demonized and evil and then got banished. He's just cool and his voice is awesome.
2. R.A. Salvatore: Writer for Forgotten Realms. His most well-known characters are Drizzt, the drow gone good who has forsaken his home of Menzoberranzan, Bruenor Battlehammer, dwarven king of Mithril Hall, Wulfgar, Son of Beornegar, a fierce barbarian from Icewind Dale and adopted son of Bruenor, and, finally, Catti-brie, adopted daughter of Bruenor after he saved her from a goblin raid that killed her parents. He's also written the Highway Man, one of the few novels to ever make me feel so... eh, fuzzy.

I've only read Salvatore's book trilogy "The Woods Out Back", which I really did like.

It's not a Forgotten Realms book. It's a trilogy all on it's own, and it's very good. 3nodding I also read one or two of his Crimson Shadow (I think that's what they're called) books. Oh, right. Idols? Don't really have them. Well, no, I take that back. I do (for some reason) idolize Zarla. I'm not really sure why. I find her absolutely hilarious, and she was the one who got me interested in Silent Hill. And (once again, for reasons unknown) her drawings appeal to me. Other then her, though, I only have mundane idols. You now, my mom, etc.

Another idol of mine is an online player of a great game called Sacrifice. While it may seem odd to have an idol who "you can't see, and don't know anything about", I don't buy that at all. The Internet is not as perverted as is stereotyped in certain circles. His online name was "loneSheep". An older, modest, content player, that always had a joke to make, whether he won or lost. A lot of times he poked fun at himself. His puns were great too xd
I was notorious for "following" Sheep around, and we both became known as a regular team. We certaintly weren't the best, and always poked fun at our follies, but we had loads of fun. I'd even go so far as to say I looked up to him like a father-figure, him being much older than myself.

Idols can be perverted twisted Another idol of mine is from the same game, probably as old as loneSheep. He's incredibly wise, and is extremely book smart. Ask him about a book, he's read it. He's perverted sometimes though rofl And his jokes are clever 4laugh His name is Pan_Demonium.
