Currently I'm just selling the foreign (or what ever) fruit to Tom Nook.
It seems to be profitable, but very boring.
Is there a better way to make bells?
And yes, I will time travel.
And I don't have action replay.

Or do you mean the most efficient?
I suppose it depends on how you want to enjoy the game.
Fishing.
Selling Fruit.
Collecting fossils.
Selling furniture.
Personally, the most profitable method for me is selling turnips.

Fish yourself a full inventory, give any new fish to blathers, then sell the rest.
I paid off a nearly 200k morgage in a day with that technique.

hmmm tough one well heres a money to do list i sometimes do
Harvest all the Fruit in your town even native
Hit a money rock ( if u do it right u can get 4000 on the last hit )
collect sea shells and sell them
check ur lost and found
i cant remember anymore but if you do that u should get ATLEAST 20k rolleyes
its hard getting bells

Put any fossils you already have in the museum into your cupboard and sell them all on Flea Market days.
I make around 200k every time, they sell for 10k each. smile

Flea Market, yeah..
Also, the Turnip Trade is risky... and you need Bells to make Bells. But if you play your cards right, you could make millions xD ... or lose the same.
But I would say selling fruit then warping ahead three days and selling it again is a steady method.

If its ever raining, go fish by the sea, catch the living fossils, that gives money, also learn basic value of fish so you can swap to get the most money like swapping a sea bass for an ocean sunfish.
I always buy turnips when they are sold below 95 bells a piece then your almost gauranteed a profit one of the six days.

START ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR, 2000, AND GET THE MAIL, INSIDE SHOULD BE A LETTER FROM YOUR MOM, THEN CHANGE THE DATE TO ONE YEAR LATER AND REPEAT.
I MAKE AROUND 100,000 BELS IN 10 MINUTES!
(WORNING, THING MAKE WEEDS POP UP EVERYWHERE IN UR TOWN)

I got lucky with turnips, I bought like 100,000 of them or more for 87 a piece and sold half for 101 a piece then the next day for I think it waas like 203 a piece, I was a millionair, then I was broke after upgrading my house, it costs alot to do that. (at least he upgrades before you have to pay, if it was the other way around that would suck)

I already finished paying off all the mortgages (even the last almost 1million bells one) and now I've got 2 million bells in the bank, sitting around, growing interest. xD
I made 700k with turnips once, I bought around 2000 turnips and placed them on tables and waited until Nook made his 500+ price offers. XD
