I went ahead and created it, a thread dedicated to the awesomeness that is Aikka, Prince of Nourasia!  The Nourasian prince, a reluctant ally to Earth's enemy, who somehow finds himself in a friendship with their very own pilot. Bullied throughout the show by the Crogs, even forced to attack Molly for favor of his parents and his kingdom. He never stops genuinely caring for Molly, and in the end makes the right decision to go against the Crogs command. Here's where to go to yammer on about Aikka, or rather for us to rant about him without getting too off topic in the other threads(This was created through a conversation running in the Oban Dreams thread!) Because lord knows this guild is swarming with Aikka fangirls... xd The other characters are more than welcome to have their own threads to be worshipped in as well, and anybody's welcome to go and create them! ^^ So, what you got to say about the prince? Good things, me hopes? This thread is for all out discussion on Aikka's character, personality, things we love about him, things that puzzle us about him, things he did in the show, things we wish he said or did, debates on what the heck he was going to say/do in the rain in Trecherous like Toros...whatever! Have fun, and play nicely!

Aikkey!!! 4laugh *huggles Aikka* Thanks Sheba! 4laugh *happy sigh* Ah yes, the adorable Narasian Prince.... heart Hm... as to why I love him so much? Let me count the ways... Well, he's bishy for one, plus I just love his personality. He's probably the deepest character on the show. Yes, the others have depth, but I love how they deal with him dealing with trying to be a prince, have honor, be friends with Molly, and try to be *cough* loyal to the Kroggs. whee Poor guy has a lot on his plate. I love the scenes where he's caught in the middle of trying to do what's right. He wants to be loyal to his family, and loyal to Molly. whee It's just so sweet! 4laugh So yeah... heart Mokka forever!! whee 4laugh heart

Indeed, it is rather interesting to watch Aikka's little internal battles...You know he wants to keep his parents safe, but he doesn't want Molly to get hurt in the process... especially when Toros is switched out for Kross in the Oban cycle, Kross is a bit more... violent when it comes to threatening the other racers, and Aikka doesn't want that reaching Molly...which is why I can understand his motives in trying to talk her out of their friendship in episode 19... I wonder what exactly went through Aikka's mind when Kross was calling Molly Aikka's princess... heart Yay for the forum smilies!

They did a great job with developing his character. The drama that surrounded him certainly made him and his life very interesting. Though it didn't keep me from getting mad at him for certain things. But at the same time you had to pity the poor guy.

Seriously though aikki was cool. he was by far not my favorite but also not my least favorite and they did an impressive job with his character and story pirate

lol, sorry Bladez, it can't be helped...the lot of us are Aikka and/or Mokka fans... but I did just put up a thread each for Jordy and Molly so there's a bit of fairness! and there's always Kino-D's thread for Rick!

i think aikka is keept betwen the knight honor and the political pressure from the royal position. he is young and i think quite idealistic about his duty.
je pense qu'aikka est prit entre son honneur de chevalier/guerrier et la pression politique issu de sa position royale. il est jeune et je le pense assez idealiste par rapport a son devoir.

OH YAY!!!!! 4laugh 3nodding heart 3nodding 4laugh 3nodding heart 3nodding 4laugh 3nodding heart 3nodding THANKS TEH_SHEBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aikka is so cute, kind, caring sweet AND SO PERFECT FOR MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! Aikka is my second favorite character(Molly is number 1#!!!) And yes, Aikka is the deepest character in the show, (Next to Molly, I think)
And YES, Teh_Sheba, I would like to know what went through Aikka's head when Kross was calling Molly his princess!!! Hmmmmmm.... I wonder! 4laugh heart 3nodding 4laugh xd biggrin 4laugh mrgreen

I believe we all would like to know what was going though his head. After all in one episode he himself called eva a princess. Not to mention he didn't bother to deny it when kross called her Aikka's princess. heart heart heart smile

One of my guesses is perhaps that he took it as a threat to her (on top of his family)...but that's just one of my guesses, but I really wouldn't put it past Kross to intend to harm Molly, even with the rule of the race in place...
So, one more reason he agreed to go along with Kross in the final race.
Only a guess, though!
