Yep. I'm not kidding here, there is a ghost that lives in my kitchen.
I've never actually seen it, but last week, when I was going to make a sandwich, I found that every slice of bread in the bag EXCEPT the end pieces was upside-down.
And yesterday, I was looking all over for my oatmeal bowl only to turn around and see it sitting on the counter by the stove, where I always put it when I want to make oatmeal, and where it had been absent from the second before.
I've nicknamed it The Toast Ghost. Toast for short. I don't think it means me any harm.

If you really wanted to, you could bust out some candles and try calling on it???

My friends and I tried to call up a ghost once. Not the one in my house, but just some random ghost. It didn't work, because we all kept laughing. So we gave up and played with candle wax for a few hours.

When I lived in St Louis, we had a ghost in the apartment who shapechanged, kinda doppleganger-ish more than ghostish I suppose. But he was in several areas of the apartment, including the kitchen. Scared the bejeebez outta me actually on several occasions... I miss that apartment
