Like a majority of the threads in the crew hangout, this is a answer-and-discuss-to-break-the-ice type of thread. xD
What's your favorite game genre?

Platformer! Good thing I'm a born Nintendophile, right? But in all seriousness, I like climbing stuff, in real life and in games. And usually platformers also encompass other genres inside of it, like Super Mario Sunshine's squid racing mini-game.
However, I also like action-adventure games a lot too, again, good thing I'm a Nintendophile.
FPSs are alright, but they begin to grate after a while. The same thing with RPGs for me. Unless it's something really different (like Mass Effect or Paper Mario), I'll usually pass it up...

I'm a Platformer whore, it's what I've been playing since I was a gamer. xD
Damn you Nintendo and your addictive gameplay. D:
Aside from platformers, I love RPG's, FPS's, Survival Horror, Simulation... pretty much everything except racing, but even with that I'll play the occasional racing games in an arcade.

It's a tie with RPGs and Shooters. RPGs used to be number one until recently when I start playing some kickass Shooters. I just can't pick one over the other. crying

Sakyh first-person shooters. (Never played a third eprson asides from Jak 2 & 3 blaugh ) Action Adventure/platformer is a close 2nd You like FPSs but you don't like Halo? Even I like Halo's co-op campaign. I mean, it's not the best thing in the world, but it is a fun shooter. I prefer RPGs (traditional and adventure), Strategy games, and fighting games, most music/rhythm games, as well any other game that is just designed well. I'm not usually into first-person games (shooter or adventure) but I really like the truly good ones (Metroid Prime, Timesplitters). I've also been known to become addicted to the occasional adventure game, but I avoid platformers. They're just too basic.

I like action, aventure, they put together an excellent Third-person for Shadow the Hedgehog, RPGs, and the occasional sandbox game.

I don't have an xbox & I don't play computer games (save for Knights of the Old Republic). So even if I enjoyed Halo I wouldn't play it. Eh, I played it once & wasn't very impressed. But it might have been the fanboys breathing down my neck more than anything. If we hadn't be on church grounds I woulda gotten physical about it twisted *Shrugs* maybe I'll be tempted to play the single player on my comp someday but it won't be anytime soon.
