"I think it's high time that we hide from the ignorant humans" were her words as she looked over her kind. The different magical races. She, from that day, began construction of a small school, a school she called DARKWOOD.. .. ..
In 1215 the small acadamy was finally complete, and the first classes were being held. The classes held (at that time) 10-12 students.
In 1216 the dormatories were completed allowing for more students to come in from all over the continent of Iramagos.
By 1240, there were more than 300 students going to the still in development DARKWOOD.

For Seven centuries Darkwood flurished and grew.

Darkwood Becomes an acadamy in 1820
In 1845 humans who had some sort of magical powers were allowed to join darkwood's alumnae and learn the histories and magics that Darkwood Acadamy had to offer.
By 1940 three more DARKWOOD campuses were built and more than 30,000 students attended. In 1955 Darkwood was opened to the newer generations of those who dabbled in not only witchcraft but those who were not mythically born. Those who believed that Mythical creatures should be left alone and allowed to go on with out being bothered were allowed into the school. By 1960 Darkwood gained a new playing field to appeal to their transfer students that came from further away from their area in Iramagos.

Darkwood by 1980
Today, in the year 2007, DARKWOOD entertains more than 50,000 students in getting a good education. Even now the original school remains and is still used. Reconstructions on older buildings have ended and are now opened to students as living space, as well as for teachers to live and dream their days and nights away.. .. ..
Ressurected in the front lawn of the new building behind the vast amount of Brick wall, is a statute of the school's founder and still headmaster.... Sarata Okage
