This is a private RP between myself and the lovely DB... Please do not post! Our loverlies Aveshar and Briseis are the stars of this lovely drama.. Enjoy the show!

Aveshar paced out of his lands, itching for a little alone time... The spirits of the field watched him with blank eyes as he moved past, but made no move to approach him... They wouldn't he was king here... And they merely memories... He tossed a wicked smile at them and paced on... Through the forest of dead trees, the field of spirits, the corridor of stone... Out... Out.. Out of the Twisted Kingdom... Away... The Black King had much to think about... Tension sang through him as he paced on, the long walk doing little to use up his restless energy. Perhaps a hunt? A little bit of senseless torture.... The pain of another creature did wonders for one's stress... But he just really didn't feel in the mood for anything... "Pity." He rumbled as he watched the storm clouds roll over the sky, scenting the wind hungrily and drinking in all it told him. "It is such a day for it..."

Briseis frustration wasn't being held back. She had been watching a pack of hyenas in the distance for the last half an hour. She almost missed chasing them down and giving them a good beating as she did in the old lands but they didn't even come near this place. Its as if the drooling mangy, mutts grew a brain. She snarled softly as they took off for the horizons, and still she waited for someone to piss her off just enough to let the anger flee from her and out through her claws and fangs. She wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone's bull for the day. Probably not even her King's...

Aveshar paused in his pacing, eyes flashing as the net spoke to him of another's presence.. A lady's.. And one of his.. Briseis... Hmm.. It seemed she was most, irritated... He smiled, altering his course and pacing towards her. What could have upset her so much? He wondered. If he came right out and asked it would look like he cared... And he didn't really.. She could be upset... It wasn't any of his concern... As a King he was less likely to further insense and torment her, but it wasn't a sure thing... If any of them got out of place, he'd be all too happy to exercise his superior strength... Still.. Briseis was not one to tangle with unless he had no choice... He smiled down at her. "Troubled?" His voice -if possible- sounded nearly innocent.. Nearly bland... Nearly.

Her cool eyes looked to those souless ones of Aveshar. "No," she replied shortly. Her ears flared back as she paced among the smoother rock that she had earlier been sitting on and watching...watching everything. Her bangs fell into her face as she tried to use her excess energy but it wasn't helping. More seemed to be building up, she didn't really have a reason to be moody. She just was and she hated the fact that she was because it made her seem as if she were high maitance which she was far from.
She looked at the almost twinkle in his eye that seemed to be egging her on as if he was telling her to mess with him. This was no where near a love, hate relationship rather this pride as a whole was all about dominance. She looked to him again, eyes narrowed. She wanted him here, she never minded his company but she did not know if it was best at the time but she would never ask him to part for even then he probably wouldn't do it and if he did he would most likely mention it wasn't because she demanded of it rather than he wanted to.
She was unsure, but she didn't know of what. She was fine here and actually had a paticular liking for this place but something about her standing made her on edge and seemed to be affecting her actions.

"You are tense, Lady Briseis." Aveshar rumbled as he sank to his belly on the rock, eyeing her. "Dare I ask why?" He gave a flick of his tail, coat rippling and smoothing as a wave of something went through him. He suppressed his restless nature, the need to pace and taunt... As in truth, he really wasn't even in the mood to fight, at least.. Not the knock out drag out style that would come from pushing Briseis past the breaking point... Though she was a female, and smaller than he, she was close enough to his size that he would have to work for his victory... He really didn't want to work for it right now...

"To dare is a risky buisness..." she replied. She didn't even seem to be noticing his own attractiveness as she usually did. Her ears flickered towards him, "I don't know why..." she replied softly. She eyed him, "You're asking more questions than usual are you not?" Though she wouldn't admit it his voice seemed to supress whatever beast or animal that was trying to claw its way out of her. Her voice did not sound complaining rather curious. Though did not curiousity kill the cat?

Aveshar paced a circle around her, considering... Considering her words.. Her air.. They way she stood and moved and spoke... Something was not quite right... What was troubling Lady Briseis? "That it is.. But we both know I take risks... And we both know I do as I see fit... I see fit to question the Lady's temper, and what brings her so far beyond the pride she calls 'home'...." He arched a brow at her, nearly smiling.

She eyed him carefully, he was going to find out sooner or later..."You question, I answer." her tail flicked sharply as she looked to her paws for a moment. "My childeren, I had six. Two are dead." she stated shortly. "I thought the third was dead also, but I saw her before I came here." she shrugged. "I had heard of her living, when still a cub. It gave me hope for the other two but they are gone." she looked back up to him. Waiting for a fury to come across him. He wouldn't be smiling any longer, she could see his face coming close to a smile.

For a few moments, nothing happened... He knew she had spoken... There... Something clicked in his head... One thing shutting off... Another clicking into place... His mind moved quietly, deftly roaring over the new information she had just fed him... Tearing it apart... Investigating the phrases and what they meant to him... A ripple of something passed through him... He remained still, breath deep, slow... Another ripple... Another wave of thought... Of understanding... She had cubs... Many... Cubs by another.. No.. More than one, or more than one litter... Six was unheard of in one litter... Impossible.. Two litters then... Two sires? Two males making life in a body that belonged to him... Had always belonged to him... She was his... From before her first breath... Two males entering his domain, enjoying that which was his. The glow of his markings flared in displeasure. "Children." He said in his deep, empty voice, eyes narrowing. "Cubs of another... Of other males..." A growl crept into the last phrase. A sound of warning... Of his displeasure... A rumble built deep inside him like thunder in the clouds... It filled his belly, his chest, crept up his throat and clawed out of his male like a living thing, drifting on the breeze like black, sensual music. The thought, irked him....

What had happened next had astounded even the youthful Briseis. It was in her past but to him it didn't seem to matter. She bowed her head slightly and looked back to him. "Yes, two. One a past friend and King the other a foolish and arrogent..." she watched him as she stopped herself. "His idiocy is the reason why, two of them are dead." she replied tartly. She had gone out on a hunt for him, to kill him for the loss of her childeren for he had meant nothing to her. She watched him, that wasn't why he was...angry though. It was the fact she had been with another, she thought.
He wasn't planning on giving her childeren as far as she knew. They would be strong, little fighters but she didn't think he had any intention of it. As she stopped speaking the air was crisp, no wind...no nothing. Dead. Silence.
It seemed Aveshar was the only one that could make her come back. His protectiveness and overwhelming possesiveness attracted her. He knew that she was his...but perhaps he felt as if he were losing grip...

Rage burst through him in tiny fireworks.. Rippling out from his core... Tension snapped and melted away under a flow of anger like lava... It filled him... Down his legs... His claws plunging into the ground intil it keened beneath his paws... Head snapping up, fangs bared, ears pinned... Tail lashing out... Muscles cording and tightening.. He exploded into action... It was lash out at her, or pace.... He paced.. Furious, winding circles about her.. Body tight... She was his... His.. Even if he had yet to take her... To make her his.. He growled and tightened his circle about her, practically wrapping his long, powerful body around her. Brushing her over and over again... "Mine." He finally snapped, unable to hold it in... His anger and rage and want forming a constant rumbling growl that filled the air and thundered in his voice when he actually spoke. "Mine...."

She held her head in an almost perfect ninety degree angle as he slid under her. Her own body getting tight with anticipation. His scent overwhelmed her as she stared straight ahead. His voice...his tone. She had, had enough. She let a snarl rip through her. She lept at him and it was wnough to knock them both over. She on top gripping the soft spot of his throat where neck met head. "Yes...yours," she hissed. Her ears pinned back listening to his breathing, feeling the movement of his muscles under his dark pelt. Waiting...

He growled softly, warning her not to test him... Not to threaten him with her sweet fangs.. It was rather hard for her to get a good grip on him, thanks to his thick, silken mane... But she could kill him if she really wished to.. Of course, he knew that was not the case... He smiled, a twist of lips that was half snarl and half smile. He gave another rumbling growl, though it quickly turned into a purr. He ran his heavy forepaws down her sides, pausing at her midsection and flanks... Another growling purr and he unsheathed his claws, gripping her with his claws as she held him with her teeth. "Mine." He rumbled again, tail snaking up to dance down her back. There was satisfaction in the word.

As his paws carressed her side her tail slinked into the air, flicking back and fourth like a kit who caught its first prey. She loosened her grip as his claws dug into her, her legs buckled as she let out a slight groan as she looked to him licking under his chin where it was maneless and then back down to before where his mane started and gripped it again with a soft but deadly touch.

With her belly to his, he could easily wrap his forepaws about her and hold her to him, which he did as he rolled them over quickly. She could have kept her grip on his throat for days, he didn't care... With his large, more powerful body atop her delicate structure, she posed little threat... Black paws gripped the delicate white frame again, claws sliding out of their sheaths and slightly into her skin. He rumbled contentedly as he pressed his bulk down on her, lifting his head faintly.. He wanted to look down at her, but her dainty teeth were still at his throat. A soft tug -not enough to cause damage to him, but to let her know he wanted to be free- and a low growl. "Briseis..." Her name. A command. 'Release me.'
