This is a large group rp. Only people who are allowed to post here besides me and Rein are Mintaka and Helmel. Prologue: For those just joining in this-Gabriela met Mythril when he was out exploring the northern plains, enjoying his grown up independance. Gabriela found herself enjoying his company very much. Mythril spoke often in references to his family members. After her making a statement of not having family, Mythril offered to bring her to join his family. She didn't realize at the time, but she is extremely fond of him. She is content to hang around with him for the rest of her life. Just like he promised, he is bringing her to meet his family, confident they will embrace her as part of it. Gabriela, Mythril, Glory, Kahaina, Agate, and Silvance

Mythy stretched smelling the intenseness of the day ahead of him. His heart wavered a bit dreading, yes dreading if Silvance would make Gabriella think him more or less a child. Which he wasn't anymore, there just seemed to be times when his unintentional side showed its strange little persona causing the indigo stallion to be less than mature. He admitted it. He knew darn well what a nut he could be, but Silvance would worsen it if he wasn't careful.
Shaking that thought off of his tongue he nudged his companion to stir since morning had finally come.
"Gabriella? Its time to seek out my family, well if you're ready that is" he whickered blowing softly on her cheek. Strangely he felt so calm around this vision he'd come to meet and spend time with.
~*~
Meanwhile Glory was stretching her legs with a nice walk. Shaking her purple hair with a flick of her tail she smiled brightly into the bright sun that warmed her back.
"Such a beautiful day... wonder what my children are up to lately" she mused leaning downward to grab a few bites of grass that tickled her nose, "Especially Mythy... hmm I hope he's not trying to fly again".
She smiled with another shake of her mane scritching her horn on the ground beneath the long emerald strands. Poor Mythy had inherited her ambitious nature though thankfully an itchy horn was the least of his worries. Still she pondered what her three foals err adults were up to these days walking about grabbing bits of grass as she went along.

Gabriela gave a yawn and blinked her eyes open. She smiled to see that the first thing she saw was Mythy. She stretched her legs a little then shook out her mane and her tail. It didn't take her very long. "Yes. I am ready. Did you think I was gonna back out? Maybe I'm brave because I don't really know what's out there; but that's fine for me. My biggest hope is you remember the way back home."

Kahaina was not far behind his mate, trailing along after her slowly. He watched her awhile, chuckling quietly as she scratched her horn again. "Careful dear, ou might try to eat a rock being lost in thought." He trotted forward a bit to be alongaside her, reaching down to n** at some long grass poking up and waiting for her reply.
----
Silvance meanwhile was plashing in the river not far down the ways, enjoying a half-bath, half-fish chasing moment. The water was cool and refreshing against her body, and the thrill of trying to poke the little critters in the water was fun.
Maybe she hadn't fully grown up, but without her siblings to annoy as much she needed something to do. She hadn't really dwelled on them much, and wondered what Agate, and more importantly, Mythril were up to. After all, the hornless wonder of them had some odd, odd ambitions. Like he'd sprout wings and fly.
She laughed out loud then, and ducked her head under the water a moment to cool off again. She rose, water running off her horn and face to rain into the river again, looking around.

The stallion had grown up a little smaller than most; however, he never acknowledged his "short"comings in the least. Prancing through the tall grass, the unicorn shook his mane and neighed loudly, rustling up the local inhabitants. Though grown, mischief was still an Agate's best friend. His hobbies normally included pestering smaller animals. Pausing he twitched his ears; he could hear other Soquili nearby. Perhaps I'll join them, he thought to himself as he changed direction.

Mythy felt a bit stupid for a moment thinking she'd back out of something this important. Perhaps through the night's time he pondered she'd give up on him, possibly think him in vain to try and introduce her as 'family'.
"No. Of course not" he mused giving her a reassuring wink.
Mythy was just that sort of individual to think the worst and rebound with the best. In his nature he lived on the edge anticipating 'what ifs and maybes'.
"No worries on my knowing the way home. I'm an Ace at that" he smiled nuzzling her momentarily, "Shall we be off then? I'll handle miss Twinkle Toes if she acts up."
Flicking his braided tail he smiled one last time, gazing at her pretty face the headed off toward his home where his parents roamed. It had indeed been awhile so it was high time he got his rump in gear some would say. Puffing his chest out he shook away the bad vibes and brought in the new. Soon he'd do the bravest thing in his entire life, but definitely not the dumbest.
~*~
Her mind was usually jumbled with worries off her children, Celendria noted that would happen from time to time. She smiled with her mate beside her once again, feeling the love she once adored him with when she was a learning mare. So many things had changed, grew and evolved in her life- especially the raising of children involved.
Not a day passed by her thoughts weren't traveling to sit like guardian angels on their shoulders. Silvance was never far away, but her boys tended to stray like a flock of lost sheep. Both of course having a good sense of direction in their upbringing, this she thanked the good intelligence they had.
His words made her blush spatting out a rock well pebble actually.
"Ah haa haa yeah I think you might be right with that statement love." she mused leaning in for a nuzzle because she loved him so much. Not that is wasn't funny of course but Glory always did have impeccable timing for something to happen. Turning her head toward him she paused and sighed, "Is it wrong of me to worry about our children? When will they all come home at the same time? I mean I know Mythy is full grown and all, but can't he stop back in and see his family once and awhile?" she murmered with a small smile in those charming eyes of blue she melted into.

Gabriela could have let herself feel overcome with worry and fret. However, she was a mare who's inner core was peaceful almost all of the time. The only exception was when she was in pain; even then, she tried to handle it well. Many thought her to be extremely brave, but it really wasn't the case at all. She was just very calm and placid on the outside, so it seemed like she was fine with things. When feeling nervous, she'd just smile and close her eyes. She'd tell herself that even though the immediate didn't feel great; perhaps the better would shine through.
Sometimes, she felt like her path for life had been laid out before she was born. Even though she grew as a child in a sad and caged life, she considered it a real stroke of luck she'd have been taken to her two-legged's home. She thought her human was the perfect soul to have been placed with. Not only that, the coming of Mythy to her home. It was completely unexpected, but it seemed to be another thing just right.
It was for such a reason; she kicked up her hooves happily as she followed alongside Mythy. She might have been somewhat smaller than him in height and stature as her crossbreeding from a flutter had made her of a petite build. However, she was rather fast when she felt like being so. She galloped alongside him. She felt so wondrous what it meant to gain a family. She had sometimes seen a few in passing during times her and her human visited the village. She never understood it though.
She smiled as she let Mythril lead her. She followed his every lead, trusting him not to lead her astray or into danger.

Kahaina chuckled a moment and nuzzled her back. When he'd been younger being lost in thought had caused enough mischief for himself; seeing this reflected in his love made him feel all the closer to her.
"No, it's not," he said calmly, flicking an ear to listen outward a moment. "I worry about them too at times, and wonder how they are. Mythril is sensible and capable, and while Agate may eb a bit small, hee makes up for it in toughness. Our duaghter... well..." He coughed slightly, surveying around a moment. "She's the mischevious one. I'm thankful she usually doesn't roam far, or she'd likely get into a tangle with her mindset."
---
Silvance shook her ehad again, throwing water off and proceeded forward out of the river, atetmpting more shaking to shed water as she went. "Hrmmm..." She bent, scratching her horn on the river rocks a moment as she tried to think. With her brothers being such mysterious wanderers she couldn't help but want to take a far adventure, but worried about getting lost sometimes -- she'd heard tales of Zierkia's flying expeditions, and had no such graces as the sky to view landmarks as easily.
Aside that, she did worry sometimes about the darker things that roamed, such as the Kalona and even the Skinwalkers she heard whispered about. She shook a moment, parrtly out of reflexive fear, and partly to dry off more. It was then she thought she ehard the sound of others, and began trotting along in the direction of voices.
It oculd eb anyone she knew or didn't, but it was worth a shot. Perhaps it was mom and dad out walking. Maybe... maybe she could scare them. A grin lit up ehr face at the thought of such mischief and she trotted along, plotting how to pull such a thing off, in any possibility.

Leaping rather gracefully, if he did say so himself, atop the hill, Agate surveyed the area. He felt so very tall here, looking down on the wolf sized Soquili below him. Any higher up and they'd look like bugs; the idea made him snicker in joy and wish briefly for wings. The unicorn could see his family spread out in different directions; it seemed his parents and his brother were on a course for each other. The golden mare was new; his curiosity flailed in his brain at who she was and why she was also "untall".
"Party crashing time," the stallion said to the morning air as he galloped down the hill full speed toward the other horses, the sunlight glinting off of his horn.

Mythril lead them aways through brush and bramble, a destination he clearly marked in his memory when exploring or investigating a new place. Any certain shaped rock, tree limb, or even a patch of grass was is mental marker to keep on track and know where his fate lead him to.
How odd this particular way was perfect for what he'd encountered and learned the last day. Any other path could of been chosen, but his heart lied over the stream so to speak.
And indeed as his massive hooves splashed in the water, with her by his side, he smelled his family not too far off. A pang struck him suddenly knowing full well what was lying in store for him. If either of the two ruined this, they'd wish they left him alone.
Turning to look confidently at Gabriela he smiled, "Its just over a ways from here. I can smell the clover patch a mile of a way I used to play in" he smiled holding his head high as he began a light prance to his home.
He just knew an ambush of sorts would happen, but from which area he wondered.
~*~
Glory's head swung upward from nipping bunches of Clover smelling a familiar, and not so recognizable scent. Her ears swiveled as the liveliness in her eyes flickered once more. Nostrils rising and falling she gave a dance in her front feet.
"Well now... seems I don't need to worry anymore Kahania. I'm just wondering who he brought with him." she murmured trying to tell if it was a male or female accompanying her son.
Quickly nuzzling her mate she started to walk forward then gave a burst of speed, her spiral shining in front of her lithe streaming form.
So excited and overjoyed she was to not worry and bless the day her children willingly came back to see their parents. But who was this mysterious stranger she wondered.

Gabriela kept watching Mythril. She could see some type of hesitation or feeling of apprehension the closer they got. She hoped that it wasn't out of doubt that his family would in fact accept her as family as he so confidently offered to her. However, her peaceful heart refused to dwell on such unpleasantness. Besides, pondering the idea of being treated unwelcomed, it made her feel a bit timid. That was rather unpleasant feeling as well.
She did start keeping her eyes peeled for whatever was making him antsy not knowing what lived in these areas that would put him on edge. She smiled as their feet touched the cool river. She loved being near streams and rivers. The rushing water made her feel serene. She wondered if they were near his home or just passing a herd of horses as she could smell and hear what was the faint murmurs of other horses.
Gab walked along closing her eyes only for a most brief moment, and she took a deep breath choosing to not pay attention or give heed to the part of her that wanted to think anythng negative. She'd take heart and hope for the best to come of this. Her wings flexed as she relaxed herself, them glinting with the sunlight pouring through them.

Kahaina too had caught the scent on the wind, ears perked as his eyes scanned. So Mythril had found someone to accompany him back here. Nothing seemed wrong, no taints or wrongness, so he relaxed somewhat, until his mate sprung ahead. Not to be left behind by her exuberance he tore off after her, matching her stride, a night to her day in colors as he followed.
Somehow, his nose wasn't far off in knowing that Silvance wasn't far away, smelling of water and wet hair now. He snorted slightly, wondering what she'd been up to this time. She'd JUST bathed yesterday even....
----
She stopped suddenly, ears perked as she ehard the noise of others. Hooves, walking along. It didn't sound quite right though - it couldn't be her parents because one was far too light for even her mother... and no one had had children that she knew of around here... so what gave?
She crouched slightly and shoved a bush branch with her horn to peer. Ohhhh... ohhhh! OH! Mythril?! And... and... what the heck? She's tiny?! What, did he go off and have a kid?!?!?! She's too smalllll.
Silvance felt herself disarmed of any plots, too confused by the sight. Well, then agian, that little one had wings... it felt like she should know better but...
What the heck, it was female. Mythril either had a kid or has a woman he wants to show to the family. She drew back, scratching her horn on the branch a moment in irritation. "Mythril, you're a strange one. No horn, no brains.... why couldn't you be more like dad."
She might not completely get the surprise she wanted but...
She burst out fo the bush, with an exuberance all of her own, trotting after them. She just HAD to meet them first now! She just HAD to know everything now, and before too much got in the way.
"Myyyythhhhhhyyyy~" she called out sweetly, smiling all the same. "Mythy darling bother of mine! How good to see you!" She trotted along, glistening with the dampness and holding herself up proper like a young female unicorn should.
Oh my, she has wings and a horn. Oho....

His plan was working splendidly; he was flying down the hill at breakneck pace. His family would definitely be surprised. Agate drew closer and closer to them, though by now he couldn't stop. And by now it had dawned on the unicorn that he was out of control.
"Uh oh," he groaned, trying to slow down; gravity was pushing him along despite his desire to slow. As it stood he was on a collision course with Silvance. That was just what he needed. He'd butt into her and then she'd spear him one good time in revenge. She had grown to be bigger than him and this filled the little stallion with dread. He could only hope she had half a brain to move out of his way.
"INCOMING!" He neighed loudly in warning.

Mythril was near the crest of the valley before two sets off hoofbeats reached his ears. Just how long had he been absent from the family that a charging welcome was needed, really now? He smelled Silvance, and his brother nearby. Wait. No, we'll say Agate was galloping out of control for his call of 'clearing the area' hit Mythy like none other. A faint chuckle escaped his lips thinking she'd be more cross with Agate than paying attention to Mythril and Gabriela. Why the ball was simply put into play on the earthbound stallion's favor.
Stepping closer to her he watched the careening agate headed straight for Silvance.
"Oh that is gonna hurt" he mumbled leaning over to check on Gabriela whom he knew also probably was watching the chaos.
~*~
Glory with her own set on gallop heard Agate as well, though her gaze lied upon her son and possible mate? Glory beamed charging even faster toward them tossing her head. She knew as well Kahaina was following her since it was sudden her hooves had seemed to hit ice as she flew even faster to intervene Mythy.
Calling out with a joyous voice she announced her own entry. Ah Glory the ambitious was now arriving, "Mythy!!!! How nice of you to come home!" she called out with a happiness as her eyes twinkled.
Fears on the other hand of colliding siblings wasn't going to be pretty. Perhaps she'd deal with that later, right now it was her son she tacked her blessings onto. Where had he been all this time? Glory's eyes sat directly on Gabriela widely as she pulled in with a wonderful trot followed by a walk.

Gabriela didn't know who was who. She did hear that warning to watch out. She figured they were back far enough. It looked like the other female that came from the river was about to find a unicorn horn up her... wow! Gabriela was almost frozen watching, caught in the suspense.
When Mythril checked on her, it brought her back to the present, and she looked at the white mare who was approaching them. She smiled. She then looked up. She noticed all these horses were bigger than her. It was the first time she realized her stature was just a bit smaller than the average soquili. She wondered how tall most of them with wings were.
When the white mare greeted Mythil, she realized right away. This must be... his mother? A mother... how neat... and the big purple stallion with her.. must be her mate? She looked at his colors and looked at Mythy. She could see the similarity in his indigo pelt. She leaned her head towards Mythy. "I don't know what to say. You do the talking..." She felt a bit shy. She wasn't sure what to expect from this.
