Background Story:

Shizuka Matahari is a seventeen year old girl attending high school. She has lived on her own for the past couple of years in a small apartment, but now things are getting tight as far as money is concerned. Just as it is seeming that all hope is lost, one day on the way home from school she spots a sign in a run down looking building that reads, "HELP WANTED, APPLY IN PERSON".

"Well, that's strange." Shizuka thought to herself. "I wonder what kind of job it is?"

The next day, Shizuka put on her best outfit and knocked on the door of the building, ready to see what kind of job would be awaiting her.

Rio is the Leader of the band of thieves that Shizuka joins. Despite being a thief, he seems to be a fun loving person, and is very easy to get along with. He is like an older brother to all of the members of the crew.

Personality: Serious to those who don't know him. Doesn't like to waste time or deal with ignorance. To the few he lets close, he's actually quite funny, in a dry sort of way.
Background Info: Robert had led a fairly normal life until the night of his 14th birthday, when his parents were accidental killed during a robbery. Through a series of accidents, the police think it was him who killed his parents, and he ran from the law. He stumbled on the hideout of Rio Harada and the thieves, and was let in. Initially distrustful of these people, he's grown to trust them and has become the top thief and right-hand to Rio in the short three years he's been here. He hopes that by being with the thieves he will one day find the thief who killed his parents and exact his revenge. Until then, he serves the thieves loyally, but has taken an oath never to kill until the day he meets that man.

Personality: Kurai is very laid back and fun-loving, and hardly ever acts his age. He's easily distracted and kind of nutty, but he has a good heart. He loves everyone and people look up to him, but he doesn't like being in a position of leadership and would much rather follow orders than give them.
Background Info: Kurai's family moved around so much that he never really aquired a close circle of friends. He took to making practical jokes to try and get attention, and as he grew older those jokes skated at the edge of the law, and he was almost in trouble too many times to count. His parents pretty much ignored his attempts at trying to get them to notice him, so he got worse and worse until he ended up in real trouble. But whatever Kurai expected, it wasn't for his parents to just move on and leave him... he was nineteen, and alone in a city he barely knew.
...but then he had the, um, 'good fortune' to meet a kid in the back alleys by the name of Rio...

Personality: Passive, kind, and hates confrontation. He can be very motherly and over protective towards his friends, and he tends to put others before himself. He's trustworthy, and also very gullible.
Background Info: He says his name is Jojo, and that he came to this country when he was 11 years old. He stole just to keep himself alive until he was about 16, when he met Rio and joined his band of theives. Since then he's been contributing to the group by cooking for them. Jojo dislikes the police, or any form of law enforcement because of something that happened in his old country.

Personality: Nadia can be sarcastic at times and can be stubborn as well. She is very loyal and devoted to her friends, and determined to protect them while accomplishing her goal, whatever it might be. (I’ll develop her character more as I post, if that’s ok

Background Info: Nadia had always enjoyed watching TV shows and movies about robberies when she was a little kid. Some would say she took that interest too far when she taught herself to pick locks and crack safes by the age of 12. She expanded on her knowledge by learning about the methods the police used to catch criminals. She experimented with different types of equipment, learning what worked the best and in what situations. She read books, magazines, articles, anything she could get her hands on, about robberies and the methods used and the strategy behind them. She researched, practiced, and formulated break-ins, one day hoping to be able to use her hard work. She did all this by the time she was 16. On her sixteenth birthday, she took her car and drove away from her home and alcoholic father, headed to live her dream of being a thief. After several years of getting caught up with the wrong people, always just narrowly escaping capture or death, she ended up at a building with a ‘help wanted’ sign in the window. She figured if they were willing to hire, they must have money, so one night, desperate for cash, she broke in. One thing led to another and the break in went very wrong. Soon she was standing before a man who, astonishingly, looked very impressed. “You’re hired,” he said with a smile. From that day on she has worked with the group, and has grown as closer to them than she would to a real family.

Personality: Friendly but can seem anti social at times. He can be playful and arrogant as well.
Background Info: When Rowan was 10 his mother died. His father was the one that took care of him. His father however was a drunk and an abusive on at that. He would get drunk on a daily basis and beat Rowan when he got mad. Rowan eventually got fed up with it and ran away at the age of 14. He learned how to pick locks which he did to frequently break into lockers and such to steal money. He also became a master at picking pockets. He met Rio at 20 when the picked one another's pockets. Since then Rowan has been with the group.
