The Holy Grail's good and all... but I think Monty Python's Flying Circus is where it's at.
My favorite short would have to be the cheese shop one. What's yours?

Biggles Dictates a Letter, The Parrot Sketch, and the Spanish Inquisition are my three favorite sketches from Monty Python's Flying Circus.

I absolutly LOVE the killer joke and aliens turning people into scotsmen.
I could watch Flying Circus for hours on end. If you've never seen FC, Go out and buy the DVD set, ppl!!!

Let's see, Spanish Inquistition, dead parrot, cheese shoppe, argument clinic, restaurant sketch (good thing I didn't tell them about the dirty knife), a man with a tape recorder up his nose, hell's grannies, ministry of silly walks, upper class twit of the year, flying lessons, the list goes on forever.

My favorite sketch is the one where there's a criminal being charged for some crime and the guy is so polite they let him go and cheer him as he leaves. Its funny if you see it.
