For now, let's have this forum be an 'Advice Arena'!!
A place where we will post our experiences here on Gaia, what we were like as n00bs/ newbs here, and what we did to get out of it!!

What made you join Gaia in the first place? Not sure, O.o I don't even remember HOW I found it. I think a friend of mine told me about this place back in 2005.
What was the first thread you visited here? Here as in Gaia? Or the Guild? If Gaia, I have no idea. If the guild....Again, I don't remember XD
How did you make your first thousand gold? I think I spammed it up in the chatterbox, LOL
What was the item of the month when you joined? The CoCo Kitty, which I own XD
What kept you from leaving? Oh, I've left a few times due to work or school reasons, but I always seem to find my way back. lol
Have you taken anything from Gaia into your real life? Ummm...I bought the OMG Hat that I wear every so often XD
Have you ever met a Gaian friend in reality? Was it planned? Nope and Nope
Where do your Gaian friends live? The Internet? XD

Define a 'n00b' in your own terms. Someone who doesn't follow the rules and breaks them all the time, not charing if they're breaking the rules or not.
What is the most annoying thing a noob has ever done? Always asking others to HAVE the items they are wearing, not bothering to try to quest for the item themself.
What is worst thing you did as a noob? Posted a topic I shouldn't have in the wrong place. XD

What made you join Gaia in the first place? A friend invited me into a roleplaying guild, Black Tears Highschool, that was owned by his sister.
What was the first thread you visited here?The BTH Rules.
How did you make your first thousand gold? Posting in BTH and polling in the CB.
What was the item of the month when you joined?? I actually had to look this up... Sno Yeti Pillow Plush and Nitemare Parasol.
What kept you from leaving? The BTH guild. I swear, I fell in love with roleplaying.
Have you taken anything from Gaia into your real life? Nope.
Have you ever met a Gaian friend in reality? Was it planned? Only the ones that I met first at my school.
Where do your Gaian friends live?Well, there's some in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Washington, I think one might have been in Virginia, I think one or two out of the country, and a bunch I can't remember or don't know.
What's your favorite Gaian activity now? Roleplaying.

Were you ever taken advantage of when you were new here (fake contests, people asking for your password, lying to you etc)? Luckily, no. No one has ever made an attempt at hacking or scamming me that I know of.
Who was your first Gaian friend? Nuclear_Ember, the one who told me about gaia.
Do you still talk to them? God, no. I hate him and his guts.

What made you join Gaia in the first place? My friends on Deviantart kept posting Gaia related artwork, so I joined to find out how many artists were here.
What was the first thread you visited here? I browsed for a while and settled in a gift-giving thread. I also posted in the 'I'm new' board that first day.
How did you make your first thousand gold? Poll-whoring (back when that could be done), and bumping in the chatterbox and that charity thread.
What was the item of the month when you joined?? The Mochi puppy and the demonbow.
What kept you from leaving? Rollplay arguing religion in the discussion forums, and the sheer mass of things to do on the site.
Have you taken anything from Gaia into your real life? Just got a coco kitty cell phone hanger. ^^ It represents my kitty who died last year (who is also the reason I quested for my coco).
Have you ever met a Gaian friend in reality? Was it planned? Actually, I randomly found out a good friend of mine had been on gaia, and neither of us knew about it until she saw me using the site. ^^
Where do your Gaian friends live? Many are in the US (Colorado and Myrtle Beach), one's in Canada, a few are in Brazil, and one is in ...one of them European countries.
What's your favorite Gaian activity now? Rping in profiles and fighting my friends there.
