Awhile ago, I made a thread, praising probably my favorite band, the Megas. Some of you listened, and loved. Some of you ignored, and went and did something gay instead. Anyway, I checked the Megas' Myspace awhile ago, and about two minutes before I did, they posted their redone songs. They've only got four so far, but they sound fantastic. All of the ones with "man" in them have been renamed, but if you're a big fan, you can figure out who the song is for anyway. The only remake I'm not really content with is "Promise of Redemption." They just seemed to lose the epic factor of it. Luckily, the song is still up on their PureVolume page. They'll be up near Comic-Con this month, performing not once, but twice with my other favorite band (it's getting to choose one as a favorite), the Protomen. If I could see on of these shows, I would shoot happy rainbowgasms from every orifice on my body simultaneously. But, I can't. I just gotta hope that someone that does go records it. The Megas will also be selling these four redone songs on CDs at the events.
