Is it just me or do people feel the need to act like they're obsessed with Pocky in order to show that they are Japanophiles?

I agree that some people feel they need to over-obsess about Pocky because a) they want to be Japanophiles or b) they are Japanophiles. Personally, I enjoy Pocky but I don't think it's the best snack food in the world.
Those people actually irk me that they have to behave like that. What's worse is that those those people think Yan-Yans are a rip-off of Pocky (I want to stab someone that even thinks that. Yan-Yans are very different from Pocky).
Japanophiles are really annoying. They talk in broken English, over-obsess over Pocky, anime, manga, etc., and they think anything that isn't from Japan sucks without knowing about it,

I know, I feel too lay to put in edit in my last post, but this thread kinda explains how over-obsessed anime fans/Japanophiles sorta act. There's also things I left out in my last post here.

Pocky's a fun snack. =D And in one of the older Japanese Pocky commercials, a girl grabs a guy's hand and places it on her breasts. =O ... I have no clue what that has to do with Pocky at all, but.. yeah. The director kind of made them do it too, and the girl was like.. pretty embarrassed afterwards, in this.. behind the scene thing that happened to be on.

Cookie sticks covered in chocolate... or strawberry stuff... or vanilla... I guess.
I don't have to import 'em. I can buy a box of 20 for $2 (CDN) in the mall at the sushi stand lol..

More like pretzel sticks covered in chocolate, originally. And.. yeah. Well, I mean, aren't the prices of Japanese snacks usually a bit higher, at least compared to getting them in Japan, because they were imported from Japan to the stores here? Even if they're just by a bit.. ._.

I haven't gotten them in a long time, but if my memory serves me correctly, the box only had English and French (Canada's two languages) so I would assume they were made here.
