Title: Late Dawns and Early Sunsets
Author: Miss My Chemical Romance
Rating: PG-13. I know it says PG in the title, but if it says PG-13, Parental Controls won't let me in.
Reason for Rating: Romance.Chapter 1:"Bye, mom!" I yelled, grabbing my backpack and doing a mad dash to the bus stop.
My mom reached her arm out and shouted, "Emma! You forgot your lunch!" just as the bus drove up.
"No time!" I shouted in responce, stepping onto the school bus.
My first class was geography, but I knew all this. Besides, we were just watching a movie. I began to draw a chibi-looking zombie when someone launched a big, slimey spitball at my head. I ignored it until it happened again. This time, I snapped.
I stood up, turned around and yelled at the top of my lungs, "Is that funny?" I pulled a wad of chewed up paper out of my hair and held it up. "Is this funny to you?"
The dumb jocks started laughing, so I lunged out at them, but was restrained by the teacher.
"Miss Winters, sit down in your seat before I send you to the office!"
I glared at the jocks once more before sitting down and bitterly mumbling, "Yes ma'am."
Great. The school year had barely started and I was already a target for bullying.
After that class was art, definately my favorite class. However, even in art class, I managed to get pieces of balled up paper thrown at me.
About one or two other kids were picked on for being "nerds" or whatever, but I was the "emo" one. What is "emo"? I don't even know anymore.
When school was finally over, I walked home. On the way home I saw lots of other teens walking home, but also another person, but he caught my eye. I ran up to him and put my hand on his shoulder to get his attention. He turned around.
I couldn't believe my eyes. It was.......It was........
Mikey Way!!!
I blushed, seeing as My Chemical Romance is my favorite band, although they are still playing in garages for fun. I've seen them before. Seven times. "Uh, hi........I, uh, thought you were, uh...m, someone...else."
"Um, okay," Mikey said, and he began to walk away.
I realized he was leaving and ran back after him. "Actually...I wasn't looking for someone else."
Don't act like a fangirl, Emma. Don't act like a little teenie-ing fangirl.
"I, uh, was actually looking for..................I'm Emma Winters. I know who you are, Mikey."
Mikey smiled and held his hand out. I shook his hand and asked him what music he likes, other than MCR, of course.
We talked for a while and he walked me home. I told him it was great seeing him and told him I'd been to seven concerts. He said that was great and left.
I flopped onto my bed and sighed. I just talked to Mikey Way!!!

Chapter 2
It was finally Saturday, and after a whole week of school torture, I was ready for the weekend.
I took a shower, brushed my teeth and hair and got dressed in a pair of jeans, black sandals with white fuzzies on the toe part, and a MCR T-shirt.
I had totally zoned out after meeting Mikey, and I almost didn't believe it.
"I need coffee. NOW," I mumbled. I was a zombie in the morning. For some stupid reason, even though I'm undead in mornings, I wake up at 7:30 on the weekends.
I headed over for Starbucks and ordered a Frapp with extra caramel and whipped cream.
I sat down at a table to drink it, but when I sat down, I saw that right next to my table, was Mikey! Gerard was here, too.
Mikey looked up from his coffee and must have noticed me, because he tapped Gerard on the shoulder and pointed at me. I pretended not to notice.
I picked up my drink and nonchalantly walked over to their table. I put my drink down and sat with them.
"Gerard, this is Emma. Emma, Gerard," Mikey introduced us.
Gerard and I shook hands.
"I'm really glad I live in Belleville," I said, "because if I didn't, I never would have met you. Besides, I've been seeing you on the perfect days. On awful days. I first met you on the first day of school, which was terror, and now, which is the morning."
Mikey nodded. "I'm glad we met, too."
Gerard looked confused. "So, are you two friends...or...? I've never seen you before, Emma."
"I'm not a famous musician."
"Good point."
"Mikey, why were you just walking along the side of the road near my school, anyway?" I asked.
"Starbucks," he replied, holding up his drink.
"Good enough for me."
Mikey and Gerard finished their drinks and threw the cups in the trash.
"I'll see you some other time, Emma," Mikey said, waving.
"Nice meeting you!" Gerard added.
"Nice meeting you, too! Goodbye!"
As soon as they were gone, I mumbled to myself, "It was more than nice. I just had a conversation with Gerard and Mikey. For crying out loud, most people don't even get to say 'hi' to them! And they want to see me again! I guess this school year won't be so bad after all."
