Oh, ok, we're going with total sales, not sales rates. Also, your ratios are, numerically speaking, not accurate (Microsoft has not outsold Nintendo 2:1 in Home Consoles), nor are they denoted correctly. For future reference, the larger number goes in front: "Nintendo beating Sony in Japan at about 3:1 ratio." One last thing, specify "New-Gen" home consoles. The PS2 is still outselling the 360 and PS3, which would fluff Sony's true "home console" sales numbers.

Well, this is just talking about the 360, PS3, and Wii, which this guild is named for and about. Sorry about the misplacement of the numbers. And I know that Microsoft isn't beating Nintendo at an exact 2:1 ratio, however I did say "about" before the ratio, so all of these are more of an approximation. None of the platforms have comparison ratios that are exactly whole numbers of course. If 360 to Wii's ratio were to be exact, it would be 1.7857142857142847142857142857143:1

I would have loved it if you had put that. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought your link stated that the 360 was just over 10mil, while the Wii was almost at 9mil... so... the math still doesn't make any sense to me... I'll double check.

I was gonna say they're completely off but I realized you're doing it by sales in specific regions, not total sales overall.
It's interesting to know to say the least.
