Many of Duniya knew of the Divine Order. They all had varying thoughts of the religious body, but most held some measure of respect for them whether it was for their devotion to the Pantheon or for their willingness to cope with the unreliable Duniya gods. The Divine Order did not typically involve itself in the everyday affairs of its residents, but something about the uniqueness of the existence of the Tabula Rasa had intrigued the gods.
The Order contained the gods' messengers, and so, the Divine Order learned that they must interfere with these 'Tabula Rasa'--blank slates born out of Rasa. The particular reasons for the gods' interference was unknown, but no matter if Locke particularly agreed to it or not, the new manifests were to be brought to the Divine Order--specifically, Shakuni--immediately upon manifestation.
Shakuni herself was a deeply devout priestess of the Order. It was said that the gods had touched her themselves, and therefore she held a deep connection and affinity to the affairs of the gods. Shakuni was a leader in the Order and perhaps the most important messenger of them all. To be called to bring the Tabula Rasa to the gods meant that the Tabula Rasa held some deep significance. The certain significance was, as of currently, unknown, but one did not question the gods' wishes.
Locke recently told her of five new manifestations. As directed by Shakuni, and therefore the gods, they were brought to her temple as soon as possible. "Adara, Cheshire, Damaris, Ophelia, and Reginald," quietly whispered she, glancing over the names as soon as she had got the message. They could not be long; in matters of the gods, one did not delay.
Shakuni kneeled in front of the altar of the gods' and meditated to become one with the gods' wishes, all the while listening for any new entries to the sacred temple.
(( The gods have spoken through their faithful servant! They have decreed that all new manifestations are to be brought to the attention of the Divine Order and brought to Shakuni, their faithful messenger, as soon as possible.
This PRP thread is reserved for the manifestation Reginald. ))

Breaking the tranquil silence of the temple was as easy as pursing his lips and blowing. The note that sounded through the halls and echoed off the walls was shrill and loud, holding itself tingling and almost tangible in the air before it fell into a chaotic little tune that had no repeating pattern to speak of. The undertone was the clack of hard-soled shoes against the cool surface of the floor. Like a proper gentleman, Reginald strolled into the sacred place as if it were a garden, one hand in the jacket pocket of his formal wear and the other idly tugging at one of its lapels. Blue eyes slid here and there casually, taking in the grand surroundings while the noise faded to a calmer tenor for just a moment.
Upon seeing the kneeling figure, it faded completely, and Reginald tilted his head curiously at Shakuni, throwing his already-frayed hair into a new state of disarray. "Good morrow, madam." As if he had just happened to stumble upon her on his way to something else, and as if everything were quite plain around him. He seemed like a perfectly... trim individual, for a Tabula. Everything was tucked in neatly and tied firmly into place. Aside from his hair, a white mess of strands that were sticking out every which way as if ruffled, you might not assume him any different from any other man that wandered the streets.

He had came in quietly and smoothly like a breeze, but Shakuni had detected the disturbance. She opened her eyes and shifted her attentions to the new presense, wondering which Tabula had arrived. To be obvious, it could be neither Adara or Ophelia. Shakuni closed her eyes before acknowledging that he had spoken to her. He had manners! It was always a pleasure to meet someone who treated her with common courtesy.
"And good morrow to you, Reginald. Locke has sent you?" Shakuni stood up from her place at the altar, brushing off her priestess robes. An usually calm creature, she was not at all bothered by the sudden intrusion. In fact, she had been preparing for his arrival. "I would have to assume." This man did appear to be one of the new manifestations, though she would have to admit he was very concerned about his appearance. It seemed to be unusual behavior in such Tabulas from what she had observed, but perhaps there was no trend to their behavior.
They had intrigued the gods themselves, after all.

"I wouldn't say so much, my dear, that I was sent. You send a letter, not a person, and certainly not me." He chortled at his own jest, leaning back on his heels comfortably. It didn't last too long, and he was looking more amused as he continued to observe her with his blank eyes.
"I was merely for a stroll to-day and had a suggestion as to where. Why?" His gaze seemed keen for the moment, "Do you have something for me?"

Shakuni's eyebrows raised slightly, an involuntary reaction at the Tabula's words. Calling her dear? She wasn't old, in any sense of the word (well... maybe in some sense of it), but she had always assumed that Tabula, when they came to her, had been in the world for mere days.
"Tabula are drawn to the Gods. Why, I do not know."
She merely blinked at his question. "I am afraid I do not. But the Gods..." She gave him the tiniest suggestion of a smile. She could play too. Her eyes widened in shock. No! This was unbefitting a priestess.

"The Gods...?" He encouraged her to continue, because despite what mannerisms he had picked up since his 'birth', he still had less than an inkling about the world around him. No exchanges watched from afar could prepare him for such a notion.
"Or is it Thegods?" A quirked brow, "I must say, it is a horrid name."

Shakuni simply stared at the Tabula, wiping her face of all emotions and looking at him stolidly. These Tabula... there was something to them. They made her feel... odd. Off-balance.
"The Gods," she made sure to slowly enunciate the two separate words, "may have something to give you. They don't like to let Tabula leave empty-handed; that is what I have noticed myself."
The priestess motioned for Reginald to come closer. "Just let me know when you have satisfied your curiosity and are ready. Then we may begin."
