She told me that she was in love with me, but the thing is that she is already taken by another friend of mine. I told her it could not work between us because of that reason. I didn't want to lose my two closest freinds because of it. Now, she hates me because of what I said. It doesn't mean that I hate her. I just don't know what to do.

Then tell her that. Tell her that you love her as a friend and that is all it can be I am sorry. If that doesn't do it then you are screwed. If she loved you then she would have dumped the other guy and went to you.
