Identity Portraits: In each dorm room of the Dragon Rider castle, there is a portrait. In that portrait, it shows a painting of the Rider and Dragon that resides in that room. Twins have one painting, as most of their rooms are one over the other. There, they show a painting with both of the twins and the Dragons they ride. If there is a star in the Portrait, then that person is destined for greatness.

Soul Stones: Soul stones are little colored but special stones. They are about the size of a robin's egg, and can be made of the most common pebbles found on the beach, to rare precious stones. It's possible to shatter the stones, but not cut them as when one adds facets to a gem. To completely destroy a stone, you need to grind it till it becomes a power, then spread it to the winds. When someone picks one up, when they go to put it down it will bond with them, and they become a soul sharer. If they pick up a soul stone that in unoccupied and correspond to them (color to match the element) the stone records their memories and when that person dies, their souls is stored in the stone.

The Ryuu: The Ryuu were Nine Riders who are destined to drive away the darkness in the land. The prophesy has been lost, but here it is, for reference.
Two pairs of twins,
Alone in the fight,
Others may join them,
But now is their time
One's has a voice more pure than the gods,
One can make wind do her bidding,
One can alter time itself,
The last can hold all elements together,
Together they are the Ryuu Riders,
Together, can they bring the darkness end?

The Circlets: The Ryuu have these. They're special headpieces that a ryuu wears on their head, and when the time comes, can turn into helmets or whatever the Ryuu needs at that time. The helmets are unique though. some cover the whole head, others just the back. One or two coat the wearer's hair in a metal or stone and have eyepieces to cover the eyes.

Races: There are several races in this world. Here are just a few. Tell me if I missed some. There are exceptions to all the Race's weaknesses however....
Humans: The most common of the riders, they have little resistance to any of the elements, other then the dragon they ride.
Demons: They are dark creatures. Darkness does no damage and fire very little damage. Light however, can be fatal. Water does much damage.
Vampires: Another Dark creature in which Darkness does no damage. Fire burns them like wood and is fatal. Little damage is done by water. They are sensitive to silver*, and it does a lot of damage. They don't generally like garlic because of the smell, but it won't stop them. If they go without blood, their eyes turn red and and their wings spread, and can't retract them till they get blood.
Angel: A light race, Light does nothing to them, and water does little damage as well.
Lycantropes aka Werewolves or other were-beings : Another race affected by silver. Werewolves are burnt by silver however, so if they bite a silver dagger's blade, then their mouth gets burnt, not including any cuts they might get. Werewolves can transform whenever they like, but they have to be transformed during a full moon, the full moon makes transforming irresistible. They have influences from their 'inner wolf' often, but they rarely have the urge to bite. Lick faces maybe, but not bite. They smell in colors, their nose being the best of all their senses. They can see well in the dark, and have a inbetwwen form from their wolf/human for called their hybrid form. This also applies to most were-beings, such as were-bears and were-panthers. There are two types: Natural and Afflicted. Afflicted cannot spread Lycanthropy, while Naturals can.
Demonic werewolves: Not as tame as their normal counterparts, these werewolves are wild and crazy. Their bite turns one into a regular werewolf, but the demonic werewolf, if strong enough, can have control over the ones it has bitten. Demonic Werewolves have everyone as their enemies.
Nagas: A creature that has the torso of a human and the lower half of a snake.

Silver Poisoning: A condition gotten by both Vampires and Werewolves when they have silver introduced for too long in the blood stream.
In Vampires, it cools them, so they start shivering and they could freeze water with their skin. They get a humongous headache as well. Their eyes turn red, but a lot of blood and some rest will get them back up and running in no time.
In Werewolves, they get a high fever. When a werewolf gets silver poisoning, you can smell singing fur. They too get extreme headaches. Genraly, if they go out and kill an animal, the hot fresh flesh will cool them down. No one is quite sure why...

Types of blood: There are several types of blood, and some of them are magical.
Human blood: Human blood is non magical. However, you will come across humans with blood that is saturated in power... enough to make even non blood drinking creatures more powerful. They are rare though.
Vampire blood: Vampires are creatures are beings that revel in blood. They can control their own blood, and the blood of other's creatures. Mostly they play, making blood stars dance around people heads.... but it can be deadly... Also, Vampire blood has healing properties.
Demon blood: Demons also have some control over blood, but only their own. If a demon gets their blood on someone, they can create a blood mark, in which they can keep track of someone, shock them, burn them, or anything else the demon can come up with. Demon blood is black.
Angel blood: Some of the purest blood one can get, it is extremely sweet, not just to blood drinkers. It's not salty at all. Angel blood is blue.

Relationships with the races: Normal relations between races go as...
Demons: Demons have as their enemies Angels and Vampires. Werewolves are their allies.
Lycanthropes: Lycanthropes have as their allies Demons. Their enemies, Vampires. No one is sure the angel's position on the were-being's race, or of the werewolves position on the angels.
Vampires: Vampire have Werewolves and Demons as their enemies. Oddly, Vampires and Angels are allies.
Angels: Angels have demons as their enemies. No one know their views on werewolves, and Vampire are their allies.
Nagas: Allies with the few demons they come in contact with, vampires too, Werewolves are neutral and manipulative of humans.
Humans: They just stay out of the way.

Types of Elemental Dragons.
Basic
Fire: Hot hot HOT! Fire riders have hotter then normal temperatures. Hot enough to be fatal for a normal being. They are harmed by water, but if their clever they can turn water into steam. To much water, and they explode! Wind just fans the flames, minimal damage from wind, and they do normal damage to Earth.Water: Wet and wild, they have cooler temperatures then the rest. They do much damage to Wind and Fire, though they must be careful when fighting Fire, lest they get turned into a puff of steam. They can wear away Earthen Rock quite well, though Earthen plant magic does much damage. Wind does normal damage.Earth: There are two types of Earth magic. Earth Stone and Earth Plant. Both can be used by an Earth rider, seeing as they carry both magics.
Earth Stone is the usage of rock and stone. They can also manipulate lava and magma, with the aid of a Fire user. Earthen Stone magic is extremely popular, do to the fact that it's not as taxing as Earth Plant. It is worn away easily by water, fire does normal damage. Earth Plant does much damage against Earth Stone.
Earth Plant is the usage of plants. Due to an Earth's dragon connection to the ground, it is also indirectly connected to the source of all life, the Gaia. Through their connection with the ground and stone, they can draw it up and focus it into plants. The strongest ones can turn a grass blade into a indestructible sword blade, or a Venus fly trap into a man eating plant. Since those who use Earth magic are connected to the Gaia, they are also widely known as good healers. Legendary Earth healers are said to use Gaia's pure energy to trap a person's spirit/soul in their body, so they cannot die. Fire does much damage to plant magic, and wind. Water does little damage. Earth Stone does little damage.Unusual Lightning: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzap! Lightning users are really fast! They can do little little damage to stone or fire, but much damage to water. Thy can so more damage to Wind then usual, but that takes much effort.Ice: COLD!! Ice Users have lower then normal temperatures. They are strong against water and Stone, though plants dig right in and Lighting goes right through. Fire melts them real quick.Light: Light users are impossible to blind. They are bound to fire, and fire does the most damage to them. They do much damage against Darkness.
Darkness: Darkness users can see anything in the dark. They take much damage from fire and light, and are bound to earth, and take much damage from water.Healing: Healers are connected, like the Earth users, to the Gaia. They are allowed to run it's magic through them to heal others. Rarely will you find a pure blooded healing dragon. Healing dragons are defenseless in most ways.
They can however, alter the insides of a living creature. Mostly this is used to repair, but this ability can be used to make bones soft, twist up organs, weaken muscles. This is the only defense healing dragons have.Rares Lunar: Lunar users are strongest during the full and new moons. They are at their weakest during the half moon. They are weak to fire.Solar: Solar users are strongest at noon, and weakest at night. They are weak to water.Time: Freeze! Good. Time users are one of the rarest of the rare, and their weaknesses are unknown. They simply do not let their weaknesses be known. Why? Because they can.Soul: In both dimensions there are two planes: The physical plane, and the astral plane. They physical plane is where the body is, the astral the soul. Soul dragon are more powerful then most as they can hop from the physical to the astral planes easily, while with the other elements have to preform some type of ritual and open a portal. While they are on the physical plane, they can attack from the astral, attacking another's unprotected soul.Sound: ♪♫♪♫ This is the magic of manipulating sound. It uses sonic waves. Most common practice is fighting using music. Sound users have very good hearing-- as good as bats.Illusion: The Illusionary Element is a mixture of light and dark elements. It can create 'copies' of objects and/or people. The amount of Light and Dark of the weildrs heart effects the Elements abilities. This element can also affect, alter, or manipulate dreams. If the user has more light, they will use more light-type element attacks and vice versa with dark. There is almost no end to the strength of the element only that it could kill the user if used too much or they would fall victim to its side effect. The side effect is that the user will become 'mad' and become part of the Element itself and either fade away or die with the Illusion they have casted.Wind: Another super rare, they are able to use all the elements to an extent. Their weaknesses are listed above.Rainbow: The RAREST of the rare, Rainbow users are the toughest to beat. They have everything, so if they throw a mass of rainbow light at you, you're toast. Only rainbow can beat rainbow.

The Gaia: The Gaia is a legendary... something, somewhere in the two dimensions. It is pure life, able to turn a dead soul/spirit into a living one. It is legendary, and many spirits search the two dimensions for it. No one has found the Gaia. ninja
Earth Riders are connected to the Gaia through the ground that they stand on. this allows them to heal and manipulate plants, though the use of stone is much more popular due to the fact that using the Gaia's energy will often leave the caster exhausted.

Dragon Deaths: When a dragon dies, one cannot Impress another dragon. When the mental bond that a dragon breaks, it scars the mind of the person who rode that dragon, making them unable to impress again.

Dragon Bonds: In the post above, ^ I have stated that it is impossible for a rider to bond or impress with another dragon after their first dragon dies. However, if a Rider dies, rarely a dragon will reach out and bond with another rider. This is the only case where one can ride two dragons at once. The dragon that created the new bond will become depressed. This is hard on the three of them, Dragon, Rider, Dragon. The power that the two dragons carry will merge slowly, and will screw up the spell casting of the Rider. It is quite painful. After a few years, the dragon that created the bond will die, screwing up the other two further.

Gods: There are more gods then colors of the rainbow. Here is a list of the gods. You can name a god, but I control them. There is a god for every element.* The gods have been known to posses those who use their elements, to avoid having to show their true faces. So if Moegami possesses a fire rider, the god controls what the rider's body does, and the rider may let Moegami use their body willingly or may fight the fire god, depending on the rider's choices.
Elemental gods
Moegami: Goddess of Fire. Depicted as a firebird, or phoenix.Nuregami: Goddess of water. Often depicted as a snake.Gaia: Goddess of the earth, she is goddess of the center of all life and of plants. Depicted a sa woman with vines for hair.Gekiami:God of lightning. Depicted as a tiger with a BIG bow on his back.Itegami: God of Ice, depicted as a buffalo.Alkutam: Light god.Kyprioth: God of Shadows, his children often posess dark creatures to grow stronger. Depicted as a shadow.Airmid: Goddess of healing. Depicteed as a dove.Yumigami: Moon god. Often depicted as a rabbit... with a hammer!Amaterasu: Sun goddess, often depicted as white wolf with varying weapons on her back.Kasugami: God of time and mist.
