After her conversation with Riley Manuela had assumed that she was also friends with Antony. After all they'd spent some time together in class, right? So she had sent the two seperate invitations to see a movie with her, one that Mama Estelle had suggested called The Princess Bride. It sounded alright, and Mama had said it was funny so even Riley would like it. For the occasion she had picked a simple neutral outfit, one that she had chosen when shopping with Antony. To her it said, "I tried, but not too hard.
Since she had gotten their tickets ahead of time she now sat patiently at a table inside the theater, fiddling through the things in her purse as she waited for their arrival. She'd told them both the same time, 5 minutes before the movie was supposed to start seating. That would give them enough time to get snacks and whatever else.

He had a pocketful of cash, and firm orders not to go anywhere without calling his father first. He felt like an adult as he headed to the table where Manuela said, his ticket in his hand. "Good evening, Manuela," he said with a slight bow and an easy smile. "Looking forward to the movie?"

Knowing the absolute trouble Riley tended to get into, Liam had been instructed to hand around the theater while the kids went into the movie. Which was easy for him. He had simply given Riley some money, found a bench to sit on, and taken out his lap top to do some work. Which left her seemingly on her own for the most part.
Riley was thrilled to be "free", so to speak. At her brother's advice she had worn something warm. And he was right...the theater WAS cold, so her jeans, tank top, and jacket kept the chill out. She even had a hat. Yes, a hat, not a ratty cap or anything. Seeing her friends she grinned, standing on her toes and waving, "MANNY! ANTONY! OVER HERE!" Which was quickly followed by her hurrying over to meet them.

Manny smiled when Antony approached her and started to say something, but was cut off when Riley announced her arrival. She jumped to her feet and waved to the girl, who she considered her best friend. When she reached them Manuela clasped her hands together happily, "You both made it, this is going to be so much fun." She looked as if she were standing on her toes, but she wasn't, simply perched on a pair of silver heels that made her almost as tall as Riley. "The movie's starting in a few minutes, do you guys want to grab anything?"

He hadn't expected Riley, nor was he that thrilled to see her, but he had come to realize that the two girls were close. He smiled, but not quite as brightly as he looked over at the food stand. "We could get nachoes," he said. Even if he WAS a prince he didn't have that high class palate that was expected of them.
Hell, he was lucky to get fed on a regular basis if he didn't make it himself. "And a drink?" he asked.

"We need popcorn," Riley said seriously as if this were the law of movie watching. Which it was as far as she knew. Besides, when you got popcorn you got a lot more of it then when you got nachos. Not that you couldn't get nachos too, but that alone was rather sad since it was a small little box-tray no bigger then your two hands lined up. And one thing was for sure-Riley liked food, more out of nessesity then anything else, but still. "But a drink's good...mm...maybe we can share?" She didn't even bother to suggest three different straws. Sharing was something she was used to, with five brothers and all. Spit cooties wasn't something she feared.

Manny nodded to all these suggestions as she got in the line, running back over the list in her head, "Ok so nachoes and drinks, and we definately need popcorn. A big one. Oh! How about some gummi bears too?" Mama had given her enough money for all that, and if not she had some of her own. After all she was here to treat her friends. What sort of drinks though? "Hey Riley, is Coca Cola ok with you?" she asked, not giving another thought to the fact that she could have asked Antony. Well he was a boy, and he probably didn't like the same kind of stuff. "And what do you want Antony?" she added, hoping he wouldn't feel left out.

"Anything's fine," he said as he pulled out the money his father had given him. "I can pay, though." He had plenty, since he had hit Shade up right after a good commission.

"S'fine with me!" Riley agreed. Again, she liked food but she wasn't picky about it. Instead of scrambling over the two other children to pay for the snacks, she twitched her feathered ears thoughtfully and stated simply, "I'll go buy the tickets!" And before either could protest she hurried off the the counter on the otherside of the room, the one with the huge sign hanging above it listing the movies and show times.

"Hmm. Then we'll get two cokes, an order of nachoes, a large popcorn, and a box of gummi bears," she said as they got to the front of the line, smiling cheerfully to the teenager behind the counter. The guy tapped buttons for a few seconds, then said, "That'll be $11.38," and went about getting the order. Manny didn't oppose Antony paying, if it was that important to him, and instead tucked her money away and stood back while her two friends scurried around. This was fun, she'd never been to the movies before.

He paid with a serious look on his face. taking the tray of drinks when they were offered. "Do you think you could get the candy, Manuela?" he asked politely.

Riley paid quickly, which was a lot more then their snacks oddly. Well, going the movies wasn't cheap. At least that's what Mikael had grumbled about numerous times. She took their tickets with little thought on it, though, since it wasn't her money anyway. She was still too young to be really aware of such things. She darted back to assist her friends, stuffing their tickets in her pocket so she could take the bucket of popcorn and hold one of the trays of nachos. There sure was a lot of carry...guess they all had healthy appitites.

"Yep, I got them," Manny agreed, scooping up the box of gummi bears before turning to look at Riley's load, "You going to be ok with that?" She felt a bit bad carrying the lightest load, but that was in her nature, she liked helping after all. Their movie was starting soon, and according to the list to names scrolling on a sign over their heads, it was in auditorium five. That was right down the hall to their left. But to get there they had to pause at the ticket checker first. As they got closer, Manny proposed a solution, "I'll get the tickets Riley, are they in your pocket?" She could help at least.

He wasn't about to dig through Riley's pockets, so he leaned forward, taking a gulp off of one of the drinks as they did whatever they were going to do.

"Yep, I've got it!" She said with confidence, even though the load was a little lopsided. Though was she really the one to be trusted with the food that was most likely to spill? She was accident prone. Regardless of Riley's state of grace she nodded to Manny, agreeing about the tickets, "Yeah sure. They're in my...mm...right pocket, yeah." She shifted the popcorn slightly so that her pocket was accessable to her friend.
