I was talking to my brother, (THEKINGOFSOMEWHERE is his name if you want to look him up) and he said "Text talk is good for being casual, which is better because you won't have to kill eachother over one misspelling." And to this, I say: Blasphemy! Correct grammar and spelling must be upheld, in our out of casual conversation! I mean, it's not that hard to type "You" instead of "U" or "I have to go" instead of "G2G". Also, two other things:
My brother seems to have something against comas, as he either abuses them in the sentence or refuses to use them.
He also uses the evils of text talk, sometimes while roleplaying, other times while having a debate or conversation in General Discussion or Extended Discussion.
He thinks this guild is "Stuck up" and "people who just want to reign over others for no reason". And to that, I still say, BLASPHEMY!

Go down for more blasphemy and my brothers "Actual Views"

O.K, this is what my brother's obviously biased views say on this subject matter at hand. Go ahead, bro.

"This post is designed to make me look bad, and maybe I do. I do hold these views, but not to as extreme as he'd like to say. What I mean mostly is that I think it's crazy when someone completely doesn't take another person seriously due to one mispelling or so. I realize that this isn't the entire guild, but I think it encourages this somewhat. I do believe it promotes casuality in conversations and for scaring people less, because literally saying "Laughing out loud" doesn't flow well. However, I too dislike extreme txt tlk, it's kinda annoying and sometimes hard to translate, sorry."

(On another note, sorry bro, I didn't mean to say the "no comas" thing...you always abuse comas, no matter what!)

Seriously, though, folks, this guy could type "Oh, it's Okay." and have it be "Oh, It's, Okay, ."

Anyway, bro, you don't have to literally translate to laughing out loud...it could be, say "I'm laughing here" or "hahaha"...please, anything but LOL.

{Edit, Edit! I believe, as in "It" when you said "It promotes casuality" you intended the blasphemous "Txt tlk", right?}

As Lord Drago imbibed into my profile, "Killing illiteracy is killing devolution. Kill illiteracy at all costs."

No form of "txt tlk" is acceptable. 3nodding
