okay, so what is it with beggers these days? i mean, come on people!
when i first joined, not as many people begged. the number was so much lower. and for the most part, if you asked for people not to beg, they didn't. of course, there was always the occassional idiot, but that was okay.
the other day i created a thread, and in the first post i specifically expressed my wish for no one to beg, and what happens? the first pm i get is some a** asking me for gold. and when i try to reply, it turns out the idiot's pming thing is set as friends only.
okay, i dont get the logic. if you're asking someone for gold, the least you should do is let the person be able to pm you. i mean, instead of flaming your a**, the person might just be asking what you need it for or what youre questing for or some other kind of question. having that block on your pm system is just rude. i mean, no person is just going to go "okay. sure." and simply create a trade with some jackass he/she never talked to.
it just pisses me off. people are getting really stupid.
btw, we need banners in here. im not on my laptop, so im useless right now.
so anyways, whats everyone's thoughts?

I've never had issues with beggers(prolly cause I'm a noob)but I have had people offer me gold out of the blue...but what you say makes perfect sense and sounds really really annoying sad

Newbies aren't beggars.
It my 5th day on Gaia , i am quite a newbie , and i got some reward because i tart a player who played Gaia for 1 year yesterday.
Let me explain what i said "tart"
Yesterday my 4th day on Gaia.
A guy on a newbie introduction topic said to the newbie that we should use good grammar and spelling. I got into the topic and asked a question, then he answered. I quickly quote his post and point out all the wrong spelling and bad grammar words and pissed him. He then post again saying he typed too fast.
I then quote again and pissed him again. He didn't get mad be like me, he then reward me some stuff for pissing him off , he said i am "good at his game.."

but not all beggars are noobs
lessa-chan - i do that sometimes too. i'll see someone new, and sometimes i'll feel like it, and give him/her gold.

Ok, let me explain something clear.
Noob - "noob" isn't a word. It somehow created by someone randomly , it not found in dictionary. Noob means new or elder player who randomly went around annoying people by begging, swearing etc.
Newbie - basically "newbie" is a word.Newbie means new player or newcomer to a game or something else.
I wonder why every time people talk around Newbie , people will turn the story into Noob?

But people will get confused, in some topic on the Gaia forum , people post the topic of "newbie" and then they started talking about "noob".

omfg i no beggers r sooooooooo annoying they ask for free stuff and its just like get out of my face and work for your money like the rest of us! lolz

asking for money or asking for donations is still begging when you're asking someone directly--just having plz donate on your sig is another thing. you're asking, but not bugging people about it. having it on your sig is just like saying "i'd like it if you'd donate, but im not going to get all up completely in your face about it and annoy you" so youre not QUITE begging...
thats my opinion at least..
