[.:Crimson Past:.] In 1862, a family lived in a mansion on a high hill, away from the rest of the society they lived in. Five people (two parents, three children). This family was a bit…eccentric. They were known for their sadistic ways, and people often talked about the strange goings-on in their home. They were even accused of witchcraft, though their upper class standing and money kept them from being persecuted.
The rumors of their sadism and black magic spread througout the country, bringing others to their door. They performed the worst kind of rituals and summoned the worst kind of demons. They thought they were untouchable, becuause they were the ones who brought them, they could get rid of them. This worked.
Almost all of the time.
One morning, a maid found her mistress dead in her bed. She went to the children's rooms and found them all dead as well. Then she went to her master's lab, where he performed his rituals and spent most of his time. He was slain as well. She could not find the youngest daughter, no matter how hard she looked. Then, in the hallway on her way to alert the rest of the house staff, she found the daughter. She had slit her own throat in the night and had bled to death. As traumatized as the maid was, she was also puzzled; why would the daughter kill herself? The rest of the family was murdered, why would she kill herself.
In her traumatized daze, she walked back to the maids' quarters and informed the others that the masters of the house were dead. No police were involved, no authorities. The maids knew that they would be accused of the murder, and they did not want to be sent to jail for something they all know they did not do, for they all slept in the same room and were afraid to come out of their rooms at night, even when the masters of the house were supposedly sleeping. When the maids went to take care of the bodies, there was nothing there.
One of the maids of the house said to the others that the evening before, she heard her master doing a ritual to summon a demon, and that it had possessed his youngest daughter in the night. She told no one except the other staff, and was soon sent away to live at the local asylum.
The young daughter, while possessed by this demon, snuck into her parents’ and siblings’ rooms and slaughtered them in their sleep. After the demon left, she was consumed by the guilt, and ended her own life in a similar fashion.
But that’s only a rumor…right?

[.:Sanguine Present:.] The year now is 2006, and Karrie Grenwalt invited her friends to the resort for her 21 birthday/Halloween party. She thought that it would be amazing to have her party in a supposedly haunted house where ghost sightings have been claimed, and having heard the rumors, she hoped that she would be able to catch some sort of activity.
She sent out the invitations to her friends excitedly, and got them all back saying yes, they would come. None of her friends were acquainted with each other (none of the ones she invited anyway), so they were all a little nervous and awkward, but they managed to find common ground to walk among with each other. They were to stay there a full week for the party in Karrie’s hope that everyone would leave friends with each other. As she was the birthday girl, she got to choose her bedroom first, and she chose the room where the rituals supposedly went on so many years ago.
The third morning of the party, all of the party members woke to find themselves covered in blood, and upon looking to see who's blood it is, they find Karrie dead in her bed. All of them were found holding a blood covered knife. Which of the guests is the real killer, if any? Are the spirits of the house just playing parlor tricks, having fun turning strangers against each other in a game of ‘who is the real killer.’ Or is something else, something darker, lurking in this house waiting for them to snap and kill each other?

Personality/Bio Saedie has always been somewhat of an 'outcast'. She's not as strange as people may think, but her purple hair and love of black would cause a few questions. She's not at all a bad person, though. Just a bit shy. She was a mistake to her parents, and they left her with her aunt when she was only a newborn never to return, even for visits. Her aunt loved her, but she always felt something was missing. She became friends with Karrie when she was fifteen, and Karrie was her best friend. She had others, but they weren't that close. Saedie is, in a way, somewhat strange. This is only because she's really into out-of-reality things. Fantasy, ghost stories...those such things. When she was invited to this party she happily accepted, wanting the chance to maybe see a real ghost. She had no idea what she was in for.

She's the kind of person that doesn't care about high school gossip or the newest addition to the neighborhood. She's aloof and loves being that way, perhaps one would label her as condescending. She's fluent in sarcasm and a real b***h at times, preferring to save herself over any others out there. Cossette doesn't take prisoners. She's ruthless and self-serving, a fitting tyrant in the social ladder (it's too bad she cares even less about social standing). One would call her grounded, a realist and practical, but this recent event may leave her wondering who to call friend...and who to call foe.

She was stubborn and strong willed, and didn’t like being told what to do by anyone.

He was always around to help out his father when he needed something done. He was always seen wearing a dark cloak, and was never seen in the daylight. He was once a fun loving boy, but became cold and distant to all, wanting nothing more than to see humanity destroyed and his beloved demons and spirits to arise and take over.

Personality/Bio: Was a calm girl, never cried, not even when she was a baby. She was always interested in the occult, though like her older sister, not the dark arts as her parents were. When she turned 11, she stopped attending the coven meetings held by her parents with the excuse that they ‘scared her.’ Her parents were not happy, and made her keep attending. Rumors say that is why the demon targeted her. She loved to play out in the sunshine, and loves to help people out of difficult situations. She would be the one to try to help the people escape the house alive with no casualties to any.
