Status: ON THE BACK BURNER

I'm a bit sick of people having 5 million kunais on their characters, hidden god-knows-where, and everyone and their Grandma having a powerful legendary super-special-awesome weapon.

So i've decided, that having some limitations would be a good thing. Not only would it allow a more realistic game system. It will also give ninja a larger reason to complete missions.

I sugest we use the some mesh of the shogunate paper-money system and our own system, but instead of worrying about minor ammounts of money. We make two different types of money.

Ryou : Paper
Yuen (Yen) : Paper
100 Yen = 1 Ryou

1 Yen Note
100 Yen Note

Ryou:
1 Ryou Note
100 Ryou Note
1,000 Ryou Note
10,000 Ryou Note

Please, discuss

Wouldn't it just be better to design an RP system then? I have an old one lying around we could probably use.

As far as the money goes, how would we decide who get's paid what?

I hate to steal an idea from someone else, but I do believe we can edit it enough to be different. This idea comes from Quixilver, if anyone from the old Falcon village of Katainaka remembers him-

Basically, characters can choose to earn money varying on the amount of lines they type. Giving a set rate, something like 1 ryou per line, would allow for a fitting money system. If you have any other suggestions, though, this is simply a preliminary suggestion.

If it went by length, id probably only focus on length, and make an enormus wall of text.

I was thinking somthing like this:

Mission Number: 2
Mission Name: Fear is greater than the danger
Mission Rank: D
Mission Goal: The large population of snakes in Amegakure, are growing in size. Although the snakes are venomous, they rarely attack people. But in the last few weeks there have been plenty of cases of snake attacks… Your mission is to kill as many as possible!
But, if you are able to catch a few of them alive, our doctors are willing to pay for a few live snakes.
Mission Requirements: A team of 2 or more Genin. In order to capture a snake, roll a six sided die. If you roll a 1 you capture the snake if you roll a 6 you are poisoned. If you are poisoned you have 5 posts to get an antidote. If you fail to get an antidote. You will die. Rolling a 2-5 will result in the snake escaping.

Reward:
1000 Yen for mission completion, and an additional 250 Yen per snake captured. (With a maximum of 6 snakes.) The reward is divided equally between the Genin.

Yen: A lesser form of paper money, used by villagers and common folk. Yen comes in different forms much like how in America there is the 1 dollar bill and the 100 dollar bill, these notes also have specific values. The 1 Yen Note and the 100 Yen Note.

The different types of Yen are:
1 Yen Note
100 Yen note

Ryou: Ryou, unlike yen is worth much more and used by the upper-class of the ninja world. Ryou comes in the form of paper bills called notes.

The different types of Ryou are:
1 Ryou Note
100 Ryou Note
1,000 Ryou Note
10,000 Ryou Note
