Holy s**t that was the best concert ive ever been to in my life... did anybody else go? They were freaking great!!! I feel bad for all those that didn't but anyhow... please talk discuss songs events things that happened last night!

(Hope this topic isn't too dead for me to bring up sweatdrop )
My ex-boyfriend (but good friend/"friend with benefits") went to that show with his friend. His mom went as well, but not really with him. None the less, he got a littled ******** up in the pit (and he's a pretty big guy too...). He went under for a moment, but his friend pulled him out, and when they went to the lobby he went unconscious for a couple minutes, then when he tried to get back into the pit he got punched in the face by some drunk guy. He he... His mom also got a little battered as well, but nothing too bad. But is was worth it he said. ^_^
I wish I could have been there, but I couldn't because my mother has stupid curfew crap. Besides, I would have been torn limb from limb if I had been in the pit, since I'm so tiny and non-violent. sweatdrop

Wow the pit wasn't that bad when I went. I came out of it alive....a little bruised and soaked in beer but alive none the less.

that was pretty bad, conflicts, how i hate them, i got in mexico's concert , punched and kicked by a dude under pot effect, at least i kicked him where it shouldn't be kicked, .....after all that, it was the best night of my life domokun

And are there any advantages to sitting? Does he ever throw stuff that far or call people from the seats or balcony?? I may be going to a concert but I highly doubt my parents are going to let us go in the pit, let alone anywhere near "floor" where my mom says they do drugs....

The pit is the standing area in front of the stage. You have the chance of getting the venue, if you're willing to get a little bit bruised and broken (and possibly seriously injured) in the process. The pit is not for the fragile. A for seats, it epends on the venue. I've seen them twice. The first time the entire arena was seated, but the people in the front just sort of swarmed the stage anyway. So in that case, it would definately be beneficial. However, the second time was in a very large basketball stadium that onlny had seats that were very far away from the stage. Noting the band throws will reach you there. So to summarize: The pit is closer to the band, but more dangerous. If you're seated, you're out of harm's way, but the experience is nothing like that of the pit. Does that help?

Well, I guess he was in front of the pit, and there was some huge metal barrier thing, and when Green Day came on the crowd rushed forward and crushed him against it or something. Oh, and the crowd eventually moved the huge metal barrier. eek sweatdrop
