I'm wanting to make a petition about towns. Here's the general idear:
So...you go to towns and what do you see? Houses...town squares, fountains, trees, bugs, flowers, trash.
If real life was like that, it wouldn't be much fun would it?
So...what's it like in the real world?
Cars on roads, trains that actually go places, houses, malls, shops, gas stations, schools, whatever you can imagine!
We have it!
They say variety is the spice of life. Why have all these separate minigames?
Wouldn't it be fun to go to the world map, find the train station, and see a little window that has a conductor npc that says "Where's your destination to be today, [.Volatile.]?"
Then you buy a ticket for 10g and find a destination. After a fun train ride of talking with friends (2 minute ride), you land in durem. Well this looks exciting. You walk along to find the vonhelson house. It's pretty much rubble, but you sit on a piece of the rubble and talk for awhile with the others there. You get up and start walking around again. You see the tattoo parlor. You walk in and see an NPC walking around. "Can I help you, [.Volatile.]?" the NPC asks automatically. You walk away and look at the shelves. You see tons of little items. You click on one, a lovely pair of roco rochelle earrings. A little word bubble pops up asking if you would like to buy this item for *insert price here*. You click okay and you see the gold count in the corner go down. You click the inventory button on the bottom right hand side of your screen and click the tab listed "Recently Acquired" You click the earrings. "Would you like to equip this now?" You click yes and the earrings are on your avatar right away.
You walk out of the shop and down a little further. There's a sign that says
"The Purple Penguin Society Guild House" You walk inside the customized house, twice the size of an upgraded regular house. There are chairs you can actually sit in, and a banner listing the guild name. It looks pretty nice, and after a time of hanging out, you decide to go back out and have some more adventure. You walk down a little further, and cross the street from the guild buildings. You find three quaint little cafes. One is a coffee shop, another a fine restauraunt, and the third, a little bakery. You sit and for 25 gold you get a dish which dissapears when you click on it. You've eaten it. You go to the bakery and buy some food which pops in your inventory to put in your house. You could've eaten it, but you chose the doggy bag option. There's a club on the corner. Lazer lights and all. You decide to get your groove on and hop on in there. You click the pose button and there are different options for dancing, like the robot, the chacha, and different things. You dance and laugh, and then decide to do some more discovering. You see your little car outside in the parking lot and decide to drive into the housing development. So, you get in your car. It glows red and a little bell rings. You are low on fuel. You go to the closest gas station and fill 'er up for a small fee. You get on the road again, using the steering buttons at the bottom of the screen. You press the breaks as you enter the driveway of your house. You go inside and sit there to log out when suddenly a word bubble pops out of the side of your window. It says "RINGGG!" Then another option thing pops up saying (just an example here) "R a i n b o w s o d a has rung your doorbell. What option would you like to choose?"
There are three buttons there. "Allow Person To Enter" "Ignore" "Do Not Allow Person To Enter"
You click the first and she enters. After some talking, you leave again in your car to the car show. A person there challenges you to a race. You go to the race track and race. You win. You are awarded 100 gold for your victory. You decide you must be off now, so you close your window, excited at what adventures you will have next time.
Maybe fishing at the peir, maybe you'll go shopping in gambino, maybe you'll go play slots with friends...who knows?

What do you think the response would be?
(I do know it would be alot of trouble, but worth it. Kinda like those who are for the battle system. They waited a few years, but those who really want it will be thrilled.)

What an awesome idea! I never thought of towns this way. I like it, and think you should make one. 3nodding

Well...It could be an access thing: For example:
You pay 5 dollars in donations, they give you items, and access to the towns. everyone will want in. So.. more money for them. 3nodding
Also, if they get a better server or something a little less faulty, it could work.

Maybe, for a title...

"Towns Petition - Make Towns A Better, Livelier, More Realistic Place"

That'd be good for the title. I think for the header I'm going to put "The Petition For a More Realistic Towns"

Volatile, maybe you ought to make a mule to run this. Owners of popular petitions get a ton of PMs, and it would be easier for us to help you keep track of signatures.
