Does anyone have any information about AC Wii? I know they're talking about it a lot, and I'm pretty sure they're making it, but they haven't revealed ANYTHING!

They've said very little. I'll help you out, with the info revealed so far:
-It is very likley you'll be able to desighn furniture, though not confimred.
-You'll be able to send messages to other people's towns using a real life cell phone or PC
-Upcoming events in the game will be posted on the Wii message board
-They are considering further implementing the Wii Connect 24 function by allowing pre-approved people to enter your town and leave messages while your Wii is in standby mode.

That's all I know. And production had temporarily stopped due to the developers working on the Mii Channel and Wii Play (along with helping out on a different project) but as of E3 production has resumed and an expected release date is Late 2007/Early 2008.

July 12, 2007 - During a recent one-on-one interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, the famed Nintendo producer talked briefly about progress on the Wii version of Animal Crossing, Here's what he had to say:

"The Animal Crossing team has been very busy working on a variety of different projects. Actually, the Mii Channel was put together by the director of the most recent Animal Crossing game. His name is Mr. Nogami. Recently he said he really wants to get back to work on Animal Crossing again, so hopefully we'll be able to show something to people before too long."

The title was announced previously and is expected to make full use of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

it seems still deeply in the closet on its progress other then that soon they will have some sort of test play or pics to show

id be like one of the first people to buy ac if it came out for wii..we rented ac for my gamecube when it first came out.. i liked it so much i hid it so we had to end up buying it because we had it checked out so long

Animal Crossing Wii will probably be my favorite game. I can definitely forsee myself waiting in line at WalMart at midnight whenever this comes out (like I did for Animal Crossing Wild World). I'm a HUGE Animal Crossing freak. whee

I tink it'l be great! The GC version was good, but god, a game without an end...XP Even so, it'll be cute to see them on Wii!
