i love the retouching but the last one had detail in the snow but when you retouched the detail in the background snow is gone. i love the picture the most but i think would be better with the detail still in the background so it just doesn't look like a white wall or something.

well i thought the textures might of been great to keep because the white is bleeding into the person's clothing. if i change the angle of the screen then it looks perfect. but i guess it just looks different on everyone's computer

I'd love to learn how to do what you did in the second photo. Maybe you could go more in-depth about how to smooth out the skin? I thought I knew what technique you used and tried to reproduce your results but it didn't turn out at all similar.

I created a duplicate layer, applied gaussian blur on that layer, then erased parts of the original layer with low percentage opacity.

I think I understood everything. Now I'm going to go try this out. Thanks for the help. biggrin
I've never heard of Noiseware. The noise reduction plug-in demo I was using added bars on the photo so it prevented me from taking screen captures. I'll try this out too.

wow those are pretty! i really like what you did to the 3rd and 4th ones!
and i might try to do the skin smoothing thing in GIMP later (im poor and cant afford photoshop lolz XD)
