I find the Christian religion good and nice, very wonderful, though I myself am not. And anyone who follows the true teachings of the Bible (love, compassion, forgiving) are wonderful people. But there are so many that slander the name of Christians.
If you try to convert someone, it's obviously out of love, but here come the questions.
If someone asks you to stop preaching to you, would you? The Bible speaks of love, and then tell you that homosexual acts are to be punished by death. Therefore, it is not love. Your views? If people want to be happy, and happiness is gotten through marriage, don't you want homosexuals to be allowed marriage? It would not effect you, so what would it hurt? What do you think of other religions and their gods? Have you ever been to another religious celebration that celebrates a different god? I myself am Wiccan, but I get the same feeling of religious enlightenment at a Christian church that I do when include myself in Wiccan celebrations. I definitely feel the presence of a higher being, but I also think that there's a Goddess. whee Do you preach to others who are not of the Christian religion? If not, what are your views of people who do?

Sorry i know this is a year later i'll PM you and have you read lol!
1.) If someone asked me to stop preaching to them, i absolutely would. I believe God will draw people to him through who He sees fit. 2.) I think churches that say homosexuality should be punished, need to get a bible thump. The bible says love EVERYONE. to me love is love, and its not my business what other couples decide to do. get married, be happy. We can't tell people what to do, only God can, and he loves them just as much as anyone else. 3.) I think other religions are interesting. I lilke learning about them and what makes their values. Sometimes I think that all the gods we worship are the same God, in different cultures. buddah for example could be the same as the Christian God, just with a different spin from America's idea of him. 4.) I worked at a jewish day care once, and i loved it. Experiencing different celebrations turly teach you the ways of religion. Just because you don't believe in it, doesn't mean you should bash it. We should respect eachother's differences and celebrate them. 5.) I try not to preach unless people show curiousity. I will gladly share my opinions when people ask, but i don't push it to the point where i say "if you don't believe in God you're gonna burn in hell for eternity!!" even if thats what i believe. because i'm not the judge.
I hope this helped!
