Dude, Harry and Cho kissed for like five frikkin minutes.
Seriously. And they didn't even do it right!!!! GAH. Harry sucks at kissing. Or at least, making out. stressed
But the death eaters-aurors thing was frikkin cool...all the white stuff...and so was Harry-Torture-Time at the end HOMIGAWD they did that SO amazingly...and umbridge was properly hateable...and I actually liked bellatrix lestrange a lot, she looked badass when she changed out of the prison nightie.
But NO ONE SAID AVADA KEDAVRA WHEN SIRIOUS DIED!!!!!
It was RED LIGHT!!!! He was STUPEFIED!!!! The VEIL killed him!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
Oh, and I feel soo sorry for those who haven't read the books, but watchthe movie. I was sitting next to two of them. I feel really awful for them, their laziness aside, 'cause:
A) They don't know what the hell is going on (they thought Kreacher was Dobby. DOBBY!!!)
B) They think Harry and Hermione are in love. rolleyes Idiots.
Though I must admit, if you watched Ginny carefully in this movie you see hints of the coming romance between them. ^^ Lovely.
Malfoy needed to be in it more, too. He's very important in the next one...

They completely brushed over the whole Sirius wanted to get out of the house thing.
AND THEY LEFT OUT THAT RON AND HERMIONE WERE BLINKIN' PREFECTS AND THE TRIP TO BLINKIN' MONGOS!!
I had so been looking forward to A. Dobby and his hats in #4, B. Seeing people fly around on nothing, and C. Lockhart gone loopy.
But the funniest thing happened. Tammy asked if she should come and if she would be confused seeing as how she hadn't watched the movies for a while, so I asked her to tell me what she knew. She said that Harry's parents were killed in a car crash. xd I told her not to even bother.

Caroline's one-word answer: No. Though the cool ending graphics were ALMOST enough to justify cutting a few ittsy details out, too much important crap was left out. The prefect thing really did play a big part in their lives. Sirius's boredom with the house is the reason he *supposedly* left it, making Voldemort's fake vision plausible. And I really wanted to hear him sing "God rest ye, merrye hippogriffs." I get the feeling it would have been quite amusing. Kreacher, though I hate the little runt, didn't get enough screen time, and Sirius' mother's portrait never went uncovered. She was cheated out of her tirade. Moody lost his doomsday mentality. It just wasn't the same--little details make the story. Especially for JK Rowling.
And did anybody else notices the differences in the sets from the previous movies? Make up your damn minds, you directors. stressed
/tirade over.
EDIT: I do think they did a good job with the actress who played Luna. Harry and Ron looked too muscular. Harry's supposed to be a skinny Brit boy. It's part of his charm. Hermione should look nerdier.

I loooooove Luna. heart She was like, me made over, wasn't she Carri? Except i don't know what nargles are either. :/
Ree-su, that would've been SO COOL! cool
Carri, you've got a point, but remember it's a 900 page book, and they have max 3 hours 30 minutes. I think. They can't make everyone happy.
Agreed about the sets thing though. Numbers 1 and 2 had one Hogwarts, 3 had another, 4 and 5 I think had a different one...sillies.

The two best characters were Umbridge and Luna. The just seemed to walk out of the book for me.
But the movie pissed me off. It wasnt even like the book. They forgot Ferinze (sp?) entierly. and just grr I cant even go into it.

Although the fireworks were good in their own way, they weren't as exciting as the flying piggies and Catherine wheels JK Rowling described.
