Victor flew across the sky, it was a cloudy day, but he enjoyed such weather. Landing near the lake he looked over the reflections of the clouds in the water. He snorted a bit figuring that it might rain before starting the trek towards the cave he called home. Though he liked a nice run in the rain he was in no mood to deal with being cold in the cave afterwards. The sky got a bit darker and Victor broke into a trot. His blue eyes and stripes growing ever brighter as the sky darkened.
"I hope I make it there in time,I'm in no mood to be cold."

Ani ( Annie) never Anirniq, her mother had given her that name, and seeing how she hadn't seen her family in so long..she decided to rename herself. She shivered and let out a sharp scared whinny as the wind picked up and ruffled through her wings, it sounded as if it was howling like that terrible evil Soquili she had met before. The multitoned Soquili was used to wandering and never stayed in the same place twice; the looming weather forced her to consider looking for a shelter.
"Oh dear," she whispered and decided it would be better to start moving again. At a swift trot she headed towards the lake that was very close nearby.

Victor stopped in his tracks upon hearing the sharp scared whinny. He turned around to about where he heard it and tried to see where it came from as the wind whipped his mane about his face. An Alicorn mare came into view her colors were indeed something to behold. Tilting his head slightly he tried to figure out why she had screamed the way she had nothing was chasing her.
"You, mare! Was it you that whinnied and Why?!" He shouted in a rushed voice though not the most caring on the outside he would not leave a mare to deal with trouble by themselves, but at the same time he did not want to get wet for no good reason.

Her soft gray eyes widened as she came face to face with a very...agitated looking male. And as he addressed her she started to seem very agitated as well, "You could have at least asked my name first," she huffed and then quickly answered, "The wind..it howled..and it scared me." she looked down awkwardly hoping that he would not find her silly like the many others she had met, she was not sure why the wind howled, and although it peeked her curiosity she knew it was also something to be afraid of.
For being a full-grown mare, Ani was quite young at heart and there was no one to teach her the many things about life. She had learned from a stranger to fly, and even then she did not fly very well. She was sure that being part unicorn that it had to be something to do with that. She was intrigued by many, many things..and this male was just another thing to want to investigate, she looked up shyly and her eyes rushed over his colors and then back to the ground.

Victor raised a brow, the wind had frighted her? He fluttered his wings and looked to the sky for a moment trying to figure out how long he had before it poured.
"The wind is the wind,it can not hurt you unless strong enough to blow you down. Its nothing to scream about."
Victor said simply looking back at her, he was interested to know why an adult mare would not know this. He was in a good mood at this moment so he decided having company to wait out the rain might not be to bad.
"Do you have shelter for the up coming rain mare?"
He would inquire about her name later it was not as though he hadn't heard what she said as much as he didn't care for the moment.

Color rushed to her face, she was quite glad she was a dark color or it would be possible to see the shade of red that she was now turning. Of course it wasn't anything to be afraid of! She thought.
"Uh, well I..it sounded like a howl, and only animals that are going to hurt you howl.." She answered, "And by the way, I'm Ani! Shelter? Well...no, but I thought I could just find it as I walked."

"Ah you speak of the wolves and coyotes, yes? Well you have wings do you not you can surely fly away if they give chase?"
Victor fluttered his wings and moved a bit in place as he felt the wind picked up a bit more. Soon the distant sound of thunder rolled, lightly shaking the ground beneath their hooves.
"Ani? Well alright then Ani, you may follow me to my cave if you wish. Its more then enough room for two too hide from the rain."
Turning around he began to trot, he figured she would follow if she wished.
"My name is Victor by the way." He shouted back to her.

"There are worse things than wolves and coyotes, other Soquili...for instance," she paused, "And no, I've just learned to fly."
She let out another whinny as the clap of thunder came and looked down quickly embarrassed. Had he noticed? She wasn't sure but he was now turning around and asking her to accompany to his cave. What if this is a trap? What if he hurts you? She asked herself and before her brain had quite decided, Ani started in a quick trot right after him.
"Pleasure to meet you," she said quietly after he shouted his name.

"I know this, not only are kalona and skinwalkers dangerous, but a regular soquili could mean harm as well this is our world, but no reason to spend all your time being fearful, that would be rather silly if you ask me."
Victor shook his head hearing her whinny again as thunder rolled shaking the ground beneath them just lightly.
"Thunder is nothing to worry about Ani its just sound now its brother lighting is something to worry about and where there is one there is the other we best hurry."
Victor galloped a bit further the cliff side came in view as well as the hole which was Victor's cave. Lighting streaked through the sky lighting the mouth of the cave fully; It was large and seemed to go deep into the mountain. Victor entered the cave and turned around simply leaning against the cave wall as though almost bored.
"I suppose its a pleasure to meet you too....You know you seem not to know the difference between what is harmful and what is harmless or is it that you just fear everything?"
