What are your favorite kinds of foreign food? I LOVE Chinese food! I like some Japanese, and I make my own onigiri and vegetarian Sushi (I hate fish. Avocado is GREAT in sushi! biggrin ) . I also like Indian food and Italian is always great! So what about you?

Ak, that's tricky. My two favorites might not actually count as foreign.
I live in southern California, so calling 'Mexican' foreign might be a stretch, and my mom's side is middle eastern, so I've grown up eating Lebanese food.

Other than those two, I like Japanese a lot. Also, Italian is good, but I'd like it a lot better if I didn't work in an Italian restaurant and have to see it so much.

In general, I like food, I don't care where it's from, and if it seems new or even weird, all the better.

Mexican baby cool

Chimichangas, Enchiladas, Tamales...that great avocado soup...
I eat any of it.

Japanese comes in at a close second, they have a great way of cooking rice with the 'yummy yummy' sauce as the 'Little Tokyo' resturant calls it XD

Then is Chinese, stir fry with water chestnuts anyone? Yuum.

Um...well I'm not really sure what would count as "foreign" or not, I share lili of the lamplight's problem. xd

In general, I like Asian food (including Indian in that definition) and Middle Eastern food. razz

I had Ethiopian food a few times and really liked it, so I'll put that down too.

Mexican food and Italian make the list too, but at the bottom of the top.

----

Counting not foreign stuff that I like: Central and Northern European food. There's a bunch of good Eastern European stuff out there too.

---

I grew up eating a bunch of stuff actually now that I think about it. I never really thought that any of it was weird or foreign at all...I've always had friends and gone to eat at their houses and they would be, say, Thai, or Iranian, or Chinese, Armenian, Indian, or Korean...basically I got a vary wide culinary experience. xd

Chimichanga = texmex.

Still delicious, but not exactly authentic...
