Victor stalked through the tall grasses of the fields near the cave he was calling his home for now. It had been awhile since he had last seen any of his family or anyone else he knew for that matter. It left him in a bitter mood, but it didn't show on his currently calm exterior.
He made his way for the river perhaps it would yield some entertainment if not just a refreshing drink from the cool waters. His wings fluttered and his movement was careless as though to say he had nothing to fear or that he was to lazy to be cautious. After leaving the long grasses he stopped to view the area and to simply enjoy the wind following through his mane.

Zahara was hungry. Yet, she was in a picky mood. Zahara hated being in a picky mood.
Grumbling to herself, the small flutter zipped and zoomed across the field, eyeing the grass and environment around her. The spring flowers had begun to wilt from the summer's heat, and Zahara didn't want to munch on wilted flowers. She wanted fresh, yummy, scrumptious flowers. No wilting, no siree!
Thinking to herself, she figured that the freshest flowers would be the ones closest to the water. So, logically, she should head towards the nearest river! Proud of her own brainy thought process, the tiny red Soquili turned in the direction of the nearest river she could think of.
And then she hissed.
It was one of them! One of those giant horses! She hated giant horses, they always tried to swat her, or call her a bug, or were just downright RUDE!
"Well!" She huffed to herself, continuing on to the path of the flowerbeds that lay alongside the river, "I'm not going to let HIM stop me from eating!"

Victor turned his head towards the sound of hoof beats and raised a slight brow at what he saw. A smaller soquili yet not a foal it seemed;with almost see through wings save for the light coloring that could be seen.
Victor was not the best at starting conversations,but he was curious to know a bit more about this soquili. Stepping forwards a bit Victor snorted before speaking.
"You are small yet surely not a foal I can tell that much,but yet I've never seen anyone like you before."
His mother had never really taught him to be proper so he normally just said whatever he was thinking. He stepped up to walk beside the flutter rather she wished him to or not was not on his mind in the least.
"I am interested to know what type of soquili are you? Your wings are so different from my own."

"What am I?!?" Zahara squealed, landing her tiny hooves on top of the stallion's nose. "How dare you! Haven't you ever seen a flutter before?!"
The tiny creature stomped one of her hooves on his nose, her green eyes glaring. First, he tries to take her flowers, now, he has the audacity to not even know what she was?!
Her wings ruffled, and she tilted her head to one side. "Why are your wings... so feathery?" she asked, looking back at him suspiciously.

Victor closed his eyes as she stomped his before blinking at the little mare. He snorted a bit but gave her a blank look, no one had ever challenged him in such a way. Yelling perhaps, but getting into his face and yelling was something totally different.
"......I.... No I've never seen a flutter!!!!And how dare you touch me!!!!"
Victor shook her off and backed up just slightly. He growled slightly and stomped one hoof before tilting his head to the side.
"I am a wind stallion surly you know this my kind thrive and rule the land,silly little mare." Victor snorted and grinned with an arrogant look.

Zahara screeched as she was tossed casually aside, her body tumbling off of the snout she was so rudely thrown off of. It took her a few brief moments to recollect herself, and she was back up in mid-air, fluttering and quite furious.
"You've probably never seen a flutter because you're so dern RUDE with all that head tossing nonsense!" She argued, keeping her distance from his larger head. "It's quite unlucky, throwing a flutter off of yourself. Now you'll never know the secret of the flutter world... the secret of the soquili race, even!"
She cackled quietly to herself, knowing fully well she didn't know a thing about any 'ol secret. But what she did know, however, was that everyone wanted to know secrets, and this big brute would no doubt bend over backwards to be nice to her to learn the 'secrets' she kept to herself.

Victor had not meant to throw her that hard, but she had done something no one had done before and it had caught him off balance.
"Ha! Me be rude! Your the one that put your tiny little hooves on my face!!" Victor growled quite sure she was the one being rude. "Why would you know that?! And why would I wish to know it myself? Its a secret for a reason isn't it? Why would I need to know it now if I never knew it before, I've been just fine till you got into my face?! Another thing? Why are you laughing?"
It was true Zahara had upset him, but in a way was grabbing his attention at the same time.
