Can just hearing a name effect you? For example, no offense to anyone with this name, but it seems like whenever I meet someone by the name of Heather...it doesn't turn out so well for us. This hasn't happen with every Heather I have met, but...a few of them. >.>
Here is another example. I love to role-play. Say someone decided to use the name Heather or Todd in a RP. Well, I've had problems with a few Heather's in the past and Todd is my brother's name. It'd bother me.
I read an article about a couple who wanted to name their son 4Real. I thought the name was silly, but the state wouldn't approve of that name and made it against the law. I also thought that was silly, but they had some kind of reason for it. ^^;
Those are just a couple examples of how names affect me.

My cousin was going to name her daughter Pearl E. Gates and if it was a boy she would name him Rust E. Gates
But she didn't xD I'm kinda glad too. I don't want to have a relative named Rust, Pearl that would be okay....but Rust o.0

Hmm, have you ever seen the movie or play, "The Importance of Being Earnest."
I'd imagine that you'd enjoy it.....it's about this man who pretends to be called Earnest...and umm, this girl falls in love with this "Earnest" and stuff....so in one of the scenes she's like, "I don't think I'd ever be able to love you if you had any other name.....Earnest it just....." and so on and so forth....it's very funny indeed.
Written by Oscar Wylde, by the way.

I kinda don't get this but okay. I was never a big fan af the name Marko (no offense. To me, it just doesn't stick). I also hate the word guesstimate. I also dislike people who say it. Sometimes I'll forgive them but usually not.

I also hate the word timeshare. It's supposed to be two separate words, but it's one word! That's playing God! That's forbidden! Also, I hate the word pr0n. Whenever I hear someone say pr0n, I think they said prawn. I don't people toying with my seafood cravings!

Ulquiorra Shiffer Also, I hate the word pr0n. Whenever I hear someone say pr0n, I think they said prawn. I don't people toying with my seafood cravings! I was just thinking of the pr0n/prawn thing earlier today xD I hate the name Krissy, and Kristina doesn't bring about any nice feelings. Don't particularly like the name Megan, either. I'm sure there's others that I can't remember, on top of those three.

It's probably one of the better plays that I've seen....ever.
