I did, I think Tom Hollander did a great job in his role. Even though he didn't really do THAT much except the whole third movie I thought he was developed and a great character. He's also my favorite kind of villain.
Also I don't think he's a homosexual, but maybe a eunuch...

I did think that he was a very good actor but I hated the character, he wanted my pirates dead. He looks like a ice cream cone ....

He was a good actor in my eyes but I did not like the character one bit!

I had no problem with his acting at all. And I don't mind his character very much either, except for when he was controlling poor lil' Davy. And that fact that he wanted all pirates dead, but, that's a hard thing to accomplish. And he didn't. So I'm okay now.
Also, I find it quite amusing how short he is. I crack up every time I see him standing next to somebody. He needed some ten-inch heels or somethin'.

His acting I thought was great but his character......well lets just say I hate him.

i think beckett was a jerk but the actor did a good job on being nasty.

He played the part really well. But yeah...I hated Beckett. He's a jerk.

Pretty much.
Specially that Indian dude with the squeaky voice. wink
Anyhoo. I thought that Beckett had a splendid actor. His character was very interesting, too. I guess he had sort of good intentions, ridding the world of raping, drunken, theiving pirates, but the way he went about destroying and manipulating our swashbuckling friends was pretty infuriating. I suppose the ends justify the means, according to Beckett.

I actually like Beckett, but I think that fondness stems from all the fun that me and my friends have while making fun of him. XD Also I love Tom Hollander. :O
