They totally SHOULD have ended up together, but alas, since the movie ended the way it did, they didn't get to be together. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that Ed ended up marrying someone that looked like Winry in our world. I like to think so anyway...

No. Edward wouldn't date her, he knows her too well and besdies; would YOU date someone who threw wrenchs at you're head eveytime she was pissed off or had PMT? No didn't think so.

no way she's more like a sister to him and definitly not roy and ed either thats so wrong. ed and rose is more like it.

According to wikipedia, Winry and Ed DO have feelings for each other. (Click on Winry's name, if I recall correctly that is.)
By the way, in terms of the movie ending, I was expecting way more EdxWinry and RoyxRiza.

in the anime: no
in the manga: YES!!
(Spoiler Up to chapter 70)->>>In volume 12 winry said to herself that shes been in love with him all this time. And in volume 14 or 15 after ed finished talking to Hawkeye she asked him if he loved her and he admited it (sort of). And in chapter 70 (i think) Winry was adjusting Ed's automail when rolled in corner away from Winry. Winry than said "Why did I fall for someone so weird?" whee

In the Manga, Winry definitely had feelings for Ed. But having a relationship for Ed... He's just not that kind of person. It would less the effect of the "moral" portrayed in this series. Besides, right now he's setting his eyes on returning Al's body, to pure flesh and bones. (I know, I know. I use quotes from the Anime. >_<)
