W00t i finally get to use my Deviant art account lol pirate
Alas anyways sorry that it took so long but i got the precolor sketches for the Reaper up on Deviantart i'll upload the color versions as soon as i finish them. i started and then by brainlocked up for the final color scheme xp so i had to start over. well without further audo

I apologize if anyone's put off by the graph's i'll have that cleaned up in the final color version. *shrugs* graph notebooks are soo much easier to carry around than sketch books hehe
so do you think its a decent blending of krog and terran designs?
The Pheonix will be done soon, as with the Shrike. i'll also include a size comparison.

Pheonix well here's the pheonix. she's the reapers little baby fighter i'll have to do up the sketch of the pheonix docking bay as its not a normal fighter bay but more of a docking port in the reapers belly containing a support harness and electromagnetic clamps to hold the little ship inplace. that is covered with heavy armor plates 4laugh
there's also concept sketches up in my gallery too

well i got the shrike up. course now that i think about it it looks way to reminescant of a viper off of BSG so i may redo it confused

After an longer break since my last drawing, I´m workin on some artworks for an story I´m going to write. One of it will be an organic ship! So what do you think about such things?

Currently i'm designing a whole series of living ships. which were originally natural spacefaring life forms. thousands of years ago they were tamed and over a period of several centuries subjected to genetic manupilation which led to over a dozen seperate subspecies ranging from gunships, troop transports and carriers. all are intelligent of their own accord though are placed under limiters which restricts their free will. to live beyond basic survival needs and to grow and evolve they need an humaniod crew. Which are linked directly to the ship through a organic implant which grants a form of telepathy between the command crew and the ship, well as long as they wear the telepathic collors that are attached to the actual implant Furthermore each vessel starts out as a simple creature with basic systems and armaments but thanks to its crew it can evolve radically. though the one thing they cant do is grow beyond their model's basic size parameters.
It sounds like a whole lot of work for not much but i'm useing them for a spinoff of Palladiums Three galaxies settting. its a space rpg.
soo babbeling aside i love living ships almost more than i love hightech ones. and i'd love to see any designs ya come up with

Okey... I haven´t knew there were so many series with organic ships... eek But nevermind that, without the influence of the other ships, I can create something absolute new! ♪
